Why is it that americans doesn't need a visa to travel around the world?

It depends on how long you will be in that country and what country you are going to. We need passports most often. I got a visa when I was overseas.

We have agreement with certain countries, like a lot of western European countries, that don't require Americans to have a visa. Likewise we allow them to enter America without a visa, just a passport.

Some countries require a visa that you apply for beforehand, and some countries give you an automatic visa stamp in your passport when you arrive in their country.

I go to Philippines, and they stamp a 21 day visa in my passport upon my arrival each time I go there. I didn't have to apply for it beforehand, but some countries need to see the approved visa that you applied for previously before they will allow you to enter. We do need a Visa in many countries! We have reciprocal agreements with others! I can't go to Russia without a Visa!

No you just need a passport to travel any where outside the U.S. but in north america and over seas to hawaii or alaska. you need a visa and passport to go anwhere outside of north america.

Because WE dominate the world. The world respects the American. We are respected by some and dispised by many because of the power we hold.
Why do you think people are climbing over eachother just to be in America ? Is it for the fast food ? the cars ? no ..it is because they want to be a part of something great.
