Currently i am in bangalore and I applied the passport with out giving the present address and mentioned only my permenent address,but in the police enquiry they found that last 1 year i am not in that mentioned address and they send their remarks as same.
Now I need the passport immediatly.What should i do if i want passport in tatkal.
Is it possible to apply for the new one from bangalore.

In a british passport it says:
"Her Britannic Majesty's Secretary of State requests and requires in the Name of Her Majesty all those whom it may concern to allow the bearer to pass freely without let or hindrance and to afford the bearer such assistance and protection as may be necessary."

So if i was to enter a British Embassy on foreign soil with a person wanting to rob me at gunpoint chasing after me, would the embassy give me any protection apart from calling the local police?

I have that European card which should be valid accross all european countries,but am not sure,since I have heard that once I live in Amsterdam,I have to have a valid insurance from this country!if you dont have a particular answer,please provide some sources where I could find some information on that issus.Thanks

i am in US now,and my passport is expiring in May 2007,i did apply for my passport at Malaysian consulate in US,but then i lost my IC,but i submitted my birth certificate and all relevant document.It's almost 3months since I apply for new passport,but there's no reply from malaysian embassy in US.I did call them but they say, they haven't got any reply from malaysia.Will they call me to come over to malaysia to renew the IC and passport,as i dont have money to go back now.

im applying for a US student visa.. my husband is a korean and im a filipina and we're staying here in the Philippines as of now. we were planning to transfer to korea after this semester(im taking up law) and since we were still here, i suppose we could apply for F1 and F2 visa here in the Philippines. I went to Ghana, West Africa last year on a business visa to work with an NGO and am returning this summer for the same reason. I got a multiple entry visa and it says 'Endorsed for 90 days' and 'Valid until June/08' which to me seems to contradict, so I can't figure if I need another visa or not. I asked the Ghana embassy through e-mail, but got no reply. Any clue?....and please, don't say 'check the web page' DUH! Answer only if you could actually help. :)
