How much does an expedited passport cost?

I live in mexico. Is it more expensive here than in the us?

The government fees are the same whether expedited or not. But, to expedite the passport process you have to hire an expediter who will charge between $60 and $100 although maybe more if there are special delivery requirements from and to you. The expediter will hand carry the application to a local US State Dept. office and make shure that the completed passport is express delievered back to you.

About $160 bucks when all is said and done. If you request it expedited in the off season, you get it fairly quickly, like in a week or so.
