I went to Ghana, West Africa last year on a business visa to work with an NGO and am returning this summer for the same reason. I got a multiple entry visa and it says 'Endorsed for 90 days' and 'Valid until June/08' which to me seems to contradict, so I can't figure if I need another visa or not. I asked the Ghana embassy through e-mail, but got no reply. Any clue?....and please, don't say 'check the web page' DUH! Answer only if you could actually help. :)

Based on what you have stated, the visa is valid for entry into Ghana until June 2008. Your period of stay is limited to 90 days. As long as you are going for the same purpose with the same NGO, you should not have a problem. It may be useful to carry letters of introduction from the NGO which state that you are returning to continue your previous work.

this is what the gov of Ghana says about visas (yours included )
a) Visa type:
In line with the Immigration Laws of Ghana, we issue various types of entry Visas to non-Ghanaians on demand and willing to travel to Ghana. Below are the various types of Visas issued at the Tokyo Embassy with the respective Visa fees attached:

- i) Single Entry
ii) Single Entry Business
iii) Single Entry Tourist
iv) Multiple Entry (3months)
v) Multiple Entry (6months)
vi) Multiple Entry (1year) ###########
vii) Student Entry Visa
viii) Transit Visa
therefore if you went last year or if by the time you go back ? it will be a year since your last visit ? your visa will NO longer be valid:
Note:
(1)Multiple Entry Visas endorsed for six (6) months means that the applicant is granted unlimited entries into Ghana within six (6) months of date of issue of the visa. It does not entitle the applicant to enter and remain in Ghana for six (6) months without any exits.

(2)On each entry into Ghana, the Immigration Service shall determine the duration of stay.
