I am an American permanent resident, and Bosnian Citizen. I just got my passport back with my Ukranian Visa. I'm flying from Washington DC on October 18th to Ukraine, I plan to travel to Italy on 26th and return to Ukraine on the 1st of November. I need a 1, 2 or 3 day processing for my visa, does Italy Embassy provide that or do you know of any other Schengen Sate that does?

I am considering retiring in or outside the U.S.

Looking for a place where my money goes far; a simple life where my contribution to the local economy will have a good impact on the local population

I wouldn't rule out moving to a place that is economically challenged

I am a retired Vietnam Veteran in my mid-fifties

I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian, so the ideal area would be somewhere Orthodox worship is easy to locate

I have a TAX FREE pension of about $3,000.00 a month

COLA increases yearly and "no off-set" Social Security coming in 7 years to increase my income.

Also, the U.S. VA will pay for most health care claims I submit from outside US.

Some ideas: Romania, Bulgaria and Eastern Europe in general.

Also Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Not worried about culture shock.

My avocation is singing and songwriting.

I'm a retired Registered Nurse, not looking to do nursing, but having a lot of knowledge to share as volunteer.

Thank you for serious, informed answers.

I know Hong Kong used to be a British colony, ceded by China. What is Hong Kong right now? is it a country belonging to China? (like Puerto Rico to USA?) or what is it? does it have it's own military? or does it depend on China's?

I was just wondering which country pays for embassies. To me, it would look like a sign of partnership between the 2 countries if the host country paid for the embassy of the other country but maybe I am wrong. Does the country to which the embassy belongs pays for it or the country the embassy is in pays for it?

Thanks in advance.

hi, this would be my first time to have something notarized so I'm still new on the process. First of all, I'd like to know where I could get my passport notarized or to whom shall i get it notarized. Then second, i'd like to know how the process goes (i.e. how much do i have to pay? how the person who does it, does it. and other important facts that I'll need to know). Thank you so much.

Hello My husband is in the Military and he is going to be stationed in Korea. But what I want to know is Do I have to pay for the processing fee for my son and I to get our visa on our passports. Correct me if im wrong , but I heards that I would'nt have to pay for the processing fee for my son and I to get a visa, because my husband is Active duty and in the military. And I did read on the visa application that I did not have to pay, for the processing fee only the shipping and handeling fee to return our passports. Can someone help me with this. thank you and have a bless day. oh and he will be stationed in south korea.

Yahoo question:

Why did homosapiens , kill all Neanderthals people?
Did God tell too?

My reply:

Why, when we discovered fire (and started making tools and machinery) did we withhold this discovery from our closest relatives and use this info it to start farming them?

Many religions still do not eat pork, to speculate as to the reason:

Human meat tastes the same.

I just wanted to know if it's possible that I could get my philippine passport renewal expedited since it's about to expire on november 7 and my flight is scheduled on december 16.

And does anybody know how long the process would take if I send my application through mail? I live in Jacksonville, Florida and I'm planning to send it to the Philippine embassy in Washington through snail mail.

I have a Filipino friend studying in UK and his parents will go there for a visit on November 2, 2007. They were given a UK Multiple Visa Visit from May 2007 -2008. They planning to stay there for a month and would like to visit other european countries too. Italy, Spain and France accordingly with equal number of days. i think we need to apply shengen to embassy of italy here in the Philippines since it's our first point of entry. Do u know the process and requirements in applying? and how long it would take us..

Hi, I'm a Muslim Syrian citizen and I'd like to visit Tel Aviv, but it's difficult for me to get in to Israel. How would I go about visiting, and moving large cargo in to Tel Aviv? I need to rent a car and drive in to the city -- hopefully a car with a lot of trunk space. A van or an SUV would be better, but in my country people are poor. I thought about it being a one-way trip, but I decided that I'd like to go back to Syria after I'm done visiting. I won't be driving the car back because I have to drop it off, so is there a shuttle service that can take me back to Syria -- perhaps a train or a bus? A taxi would be too expensive.

Also, where are good party places in Tel Aviv where a lot of the locals hang out? I like crowded concentrated places. I'm a party animal. Is there parking nearby?

Thanks, and God bless you all.
