my boyfriend is wanting to come over for a month xmas time and for a month in march. he is turkish and i am having his baby and he wants to come an see me xmas time and in march for the birth. i am goin over in november and i need to no what i have to do before then to enable him to come an stay with my family. he says my mom or dad need to write a letter saying he is coming to stay with us. is he talking about us sponsoring him to come an stay an how do we do this need details if anyone nos please answer thankyou

Apparently it takes 4 months to get a new passport and I am allowed to keep my passport so was wondering if I can travel with it while I wait.

I'm travelling to the Philippines in a couple of weeks, and I'm just wondering if I need a visa or transit visa of some sort in China? Since I'll be taking the plane from Brussels to Frankfurt then the plane has to stop in Guangzhou China for an hour then proceed to Manila. And since I still am a Filipino citizen, I was thinking that maybe I won't need any visa to China, though I have my permanent residence from a nordic country. thanks.

My wife has applied for the passport in mumbai passport office on 23 of jul 2007 but she didnt get the passport yet because the passport officers says she must finish one year at my residence on last dec we got married.she has already included her name in ration card on my ration card she has produced residence society secratary's letter defines she was staying here from last 6 months and our marriage certificate. she has passed two police enquiry from my area police station. now still she didnt get passport yet.
Can anyone having any solution for this or tell me to whom i can contact for the further process.

how much time will take for canadian imigration ,my sister sponser to us (family)25 months ago ?now 3 months ago the canadian embassy had sent us application and forms and we had filled the forms and sent to our country embassy .plz any body tell when we will got perment resident visa?

I just sent mine to PA from CA.

I just received an auto-reply confirmation that they received my application. It stated that it takes 10-12 weeks. Whereas, when I emailed NPIC prior to sending it, they said 6-8 weeks. WTF?

I wonder which estimate I should go with? I sent my old passport in along with the application and photos.

Does anyone have experience in getting a short-term Schengen visa in his/her travel document (i.e. reentry permit)?
French refuses to stamp one in the travel document even though it's an option on visa application. And I heard people actually get visas in other embassies (Germany).
Any help is appreciated!!!

I saw in the news that government agencies spent over $100 million in premium class travel. So are State department employees entitled to travel in business and first class?

And don't the higher ranked officers such as the undersecretaries and the secretary of state always travel in first class?

The article I read in the paper said that the deputy director of the FDIC traveled in premium class. If you are a deputy director, I would think that it is a pretty high rank, so shouldn't he or she be entitled to travel in premium class?
