hi, this would be my first time to have something notarized so I'm still new on the process. First of all, I'd like to know where I could get my passport notarized or to whom shall i get it notarized. Then second, i'd like to know how the process goes (i.e. how much do i have to pay? how the person who does it, does it. and other important facts that I'll need to know). Thank you so much.

I didn't know you needed to have passports notarized.

In the US, most banks have notaries on duty. You go to the bank with your ID card or driver's license and ask for the notary. The notary checks your ID and then stamps the passport. Probably $20 or so.

What country requires a Notary to prove a passport is a passport??

If you are renewing a US passport you mail it to the state dept. along with the renewal fee and a new photo. They will return the original with holes punched in it to indicate it is expired.

Present the passport to a notary public who is a lawyer who will require you to present other identification such as your community tax certificate or Income Tax number.
