I have a Filipino friend studying in UK and his parents will go there for a visit on November 2, 2007. They were given a UK Multiple Visa Visit from May 2007 -2008. They planning to stay there for a month and would like to visit other european countries too. Italy, Spain and France accordingly with equal number of days. i think we need to apply shengen to embassy of italy here in the Philippines since it's our first point of entry. Do u know the process and requirements in applying? and how long it would take us..
thank u

You will need to demonstrate your ability to pay for your trip, and document significant ties to the Philippines (which represent the greatest likelihood of your leaving the Schengen Zone after your visit). Contact the Embassy of Italy in Manila:

Basic documents such as those required for the UK visa need to be presented to the Italian embassy.
