My gf was due back 2day. Well i went to airport to pick her up and got a call. She was in the airport but she had LOST her passport some where either dubai or on the flight. Im so gutted. Customs have refused her entry and it looks like she is getting sent back to get new passport. ive never felt so low for ages. Surely the SA embassy in london can sort it without her having to go all the way back :-( anyone have any info? cant believe we must of been a meters apart yet not able to see each other. Thanks for any help

Yes the embassy can help her as long as she has other forms of identification.

Without a passport, the entrant had no document to be presented to the Immigration authorities for identification and stamping. Thus, there is no choice but to return the passenger back to the point of origin per procedure.
