in Iowa. You don't go throwing farm people a curve. I thought about what she said about Iowa and poor ole Mississippi and then it dawned on me. I am an American man and when I think about what her husband did to women, I felt she was doing the same thing and I am not going to stand for that. He should have been put in jail for that abuse and still be there.

That is if you can believe two bus loads of ladies. I think you can.

It seems that the democratic presidential candidates are more worried about their nomination than today's problems and actually sealing a democratic president. I understand it is important for them to put their names out and why we should nominate one and not the others, however, I feel it is more important for our candidates to work together. They must work together to bring down the current regime by focusing on bush’s failures and what they will do different and how to correct them. This would definitely help surface serious topics into our media, which have been hiding behind closed doors of the Whitehouse and instead of hearing Clinton and Obama battling it out. The criticisms we hear from these two and others are being blasted to our tubes and it doesn’t help to bring home a democratic president.

Tell me what you think!

A lot of people voted against Bush in the last election. They weren't at all enthused with Kerry, but they reluctantly voted for him.

Are you really enthused with Obama or Hillary? Why or why not? If the Republican candidate makes more sense, would you switch your vote?

Quote of the Day
"[W]hen you read about the wife of President Nestor Kirchner, Kristina, leading in the polls to succeed her husband as President of Argentina, do you think: What a progressive country for women! Or do you remember Evita Peron (who died before she could inherit power from her husband) and Juan Peron's third wife Isabella (who gained the prize that had eluded Evita), and think: What a backward feudal political structure in which power is treated as a family possession to be bequeathed to relatives like a ring or a rug? Say... you don't suppose non-Americans feel the same way when they read about the Bushes and the Clintons do you?" -- National Review Online columnist David Frum.

I am looking for legitimate reason why Ron Paul is more qualified to be President than any other candidate. Please do not bash Ron Paul or promote another candidate on this thread as I will be asking about some other candidates as well. Also, please note that there is only one Hillary Clinton and half of Americans are Republicans. Therefore, the arguments that a) "At least he's not Clinton." and b) at least he's not a Democrat." are not valid qualifications as those qualities are shared by my aunt, and I wouldn't trust her to run a lemonade stand.

Specifically, I am looking for
1) a voting record that shows consistency in what he supports.
2) evedence of good moral character
3) historical evidence that his ideas are good for the economy (ie. when Xyz lowered taxes, unemployment dropped by X%)
4) Evidence that he will stand by his convictions even if they are unpopular
5) In what way is he superior to the other candidates of his party?
