All candidates are compromises. I am always amazed by people who are really enthusiastic about any candidate -- be they republican or democrat. How many of President Bush's enthusiastic supporters are now disillusioned? How many of President Clinton's supporters were similarly disillusioned?
Make your best judgment as to who shares your values, or who seems to make the most sense or who you'd think would be fun to have dinner with (or whatever your criteria) and when you cast your ballot understand that this is one person, with human frailties, who hopefully will do the best they can. At the end of the day our country is strong not because of our leaders.

Huckabee is the best person you can vote for. As far as taxes go, he didn't raise ANY in Arkansas. There were two taxes, and one was forced through by the dems, and the other (the road tax) was voted in by the people. He slashed taxes, but left the state with 800 million in surplus.
Huckabee is for closing our borders before we deal with the immigrants inside, and though he isn't for the steel-toe, I think his stance is reasonable.
Huckabee is a strong Christian, who is against abortion, gay marriage, etc. He used to be a Baptist minister.
Finally, he is honest. Very few politicians are these days (other than Ron Paul), and he hasn't flip-flopped like most of the other candidates. If you watch him when he speaks, you can really see that he's telling you exactly what he believes. I also think he will be respected by foreign leaders for this trait - they know when someone is lying or has a personal agenda. That's the thing about Ron Paul: the guy's not bad, but many people don't respect him, and he gets too excited too easily.
Btw, he is gaining in polls, and passed Romney in the national polls last week - #3 Republican candidate and gaining! Oh yeah, and tied w/McCain
With that said, I think your vote is best cast for Huckabee.
--edit--Huckabee is for 'back to the basics' education, and mandated that children in schools recieve musical education at least 40 min. a week, because it promotes critical thinking, which is something many kids are not getting.
As for the war, he wants to wrap it up, but be sure we win and preserve our honor.
--edit-- And the dems voted and proposed to let the convicted rapist go free...

Uhm....Ron Paul!
Huckabee has his problems and is all passionate talk but no substance.
Notice how Ron nevers blows smoke up people's ***? He talks about the issue directly. I can't believe people dis him for that. As a nation we really have right and worng all mixed up. We have been doing wrong so long thinking that it is right that when we see true right we dismiss it as wrong.
His voting record is straight. look it up if you care about your choice so much. No one else has such a straight record = he sticks to his guns and that is the integrity we need to lead this place gone a foul.
Also, he doesn't take pension or healthcare. He gives that money back to the Treasury! No one else does this and he always has! He is so honest! Yes, even I am hesistant of some of the things he says but granted those are 2 minute sound bites; when I read up on them thoroughly (which and important issue deserves research. not 2 minutes) he makes total sense.
Check it out. He has tons of funding and is saving it until the primaries. This is why most have not caught on yet. He's playing his cards right!
These beginning poles are crap. Clinton won way behind and so have others in history. The caucus poles are not a true representation; they are only about those you have heard about because their names have been in the medie before, duh! Give the less knowns a chance; that is what America is really about.

This is the best option to get a background check https://tr.im/8pv0H
Currently there are a lot of reasons to perform a criminal background check in today's community. These arguments vary from questions over a spouse's fidelity to misgivings regarding a recently hired sitter. There are several surprising figures out now that strengthen these doubts, and in many instances it is better to be safe than sorry. You may not realize it, but there can be quite a lot of people checking up on you. Potential employers top the list. Companies usually conduct background checks on job applicants primarily as a means to verify the credentials that you may have listed on your resume.

i don't think of Clinton or Obama are good concepts for our presidency. They appeared like little childrens on the talk and are stressful about one yet another more advantageous than the genuine topics. They throw pretend classified ads for replace attempting to out do the different. for sure it is inevitable all of those ignorant human beings out the following who pay no interest to politics will vote for one in all them because of ways they seem and denying different applicants bc they do no longer have the time to seem into different applicants. on the republican area i have self assurance Romney skill good yet wouldn't have my political critiques. He needs identity playing cards for imigrants which i'm afraid will carry about giving them to all of us as a manditory. Huckabee is a descent candidate i imagine he's operating on to a lot of a relations and non secular campaign more advantageous than the topics. Ron Paul is a sensible candidate through his extreme inteligence, professional existence and he needs to midsection our economic equipment around the U. S. really than in accordance to different international places. he's a strict constitutionalist that pick to carry this united states back to the way our founding fathers intented.

I'm not sure how you can't trust McCain. The guy admits errors, votes on principle and has let personal stances cause issues within his own party and across the aisle. He's a hero and effective legislator with unmatched foreign policy and global finance legislation experience. That means he's doing something right, i.e. apolitical. He is the only maverick with the experience to lead. Let's not vote style over substance again!
Huckabee's nice if you want to go to a fish fry, but he just doesn't have the chops or personal strength needed to be chief executive. Sorry. Please really look at Senator mcCain again. He's worth the effort and you will see a lot of commendable actions and hard stands he has made.

he seems genuine and honest in what he believes and i like that I just do not think our country can afford this war. when we invaded Iraq Saddam's military was 1/5th the size during desert storm and Al queda was in Afghanistan, Invading Iraq did nothing to protect our national security

Huckabee sucks on the illegal alien issue. He is unacceptable. If there is no way you would vote for a Mormon, you need to re-examine why you are a Republican.

I like him ok, but would have trouble saying "President Huckabee". Sounds like he is from Mayberry.
