I don't necessarily know whether the country is ready for a woman president but in my eyes i would have no problem with a woman president. However, i do have a problem with Hilary Clinton and for that matter the rest of the candidates in this next election. It seems like there are never good candidates to run this fine country. My problem with Hilary is that she is a sell out. Years ago when Bill Clinton was in office, Hilary developed a new plan for health care that would change everything and sounded great as a whole. The problem is that the insurance companies did not like it because they were becoming exposed and were going to lose too much. When she realized that she could not change the system herself and could not get enough people behind her she sold out to the insurance companies. They paid her off to go in a different route and that is what scares me the most. Insurance companies donated a lot of money towards her campaign so that she would lay off them. Typical of any candidate but either way i'm quite fed up and tired of them already. I hate to say it but i would vote for Powell in an instant if he ever ran and right now i would take Al Gore over any of these candidates!

I'm definitely ready for a female president. I think it'd be a great idea.....but not hillary. I have my doubts that she's even a female. She couldnt run her own household and we're trying to put her in charge of the entire country?? We're asking for trouble.

Yes! We are ready for an effective, results oriented Executive Branch Leader. The Gender, Religion or Ethnicity matters far less than the character and integrity. Based on those needs, Clinton is the poorest candidate.
My greatest fear is that people will vote for her ONLY because of her gender and place the important qualities and qualifications aside.

Hillary Clinton has the intelligence as a lawyer and experience as a Senator and former First Lady to be an excellent President.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Apparently they are extremely ready. One of the advantages to campaigning so early is that by now most people are starting to hear her without registering the fact every time that "a woman is running for President." Every time there's a debate her numbers shoot up just that much higher. The "woman" mystique is falling slowly but surely away, at least for enough of the country to make her the undisputed front runner.
