Elections - May 2007

[Selected]: All categories Politics & Government Elections

My Idea:
American’s currently only have the right to vote for a person that various rich political groups have placed on a ballet. These candidates generally represent the ideology of the people of their political association, not necessarily mine. Over the decades it has been fairly common that the American public is forced to choose between voting for a candidate that we don’t fully agree with (The lesser of evils) or not voting and losing any say in how our government is run.

To fix the problem of voter dissatisfaction in the voting process then the voters need an honest and direct option to vote against candidates that they believe are the worst option. When I cast my vote against a candidate I want the option to directly NEGATIVELY impact a candidate’s totals, not to just support another candidate that I don’t fully believe in.

The rule is One Person = One Vote. Why can’t my vote be one of a Negative? A negative vote would allow me to honestly express my desires.

I remember when he came on the T.V. and anounced that he was leaving office. I ran outside and I saw my next door neighbors sitting on their front porch and I told them! The whole neighborhood was cheering! His approval ratings were higher than Bush's are now! Could it happen again?

You guessed it..they are clubbing baby seals in Alaska..then the profits go through Haliburton and then to the 2nd shooter on the grassy knoll then back in the pockets of Bush & Cheney to buy more leg-hold traps for family pets & to buy more weapons to kill women & children trying to lift themselves out of poverty in the getto. It's so clear now what they were trying to do. Of course it's Bush's master plan to invade Canada and re-name it Bushland the capital city would be Haliburtown.

WHY,WHY,WHY don't the Republicans see the simple truth????

BTW...the Democratic Controlled congress is doing a smashing good job.....luv 'emL

Pelosi, Clinton, Dascle, Kerry, Lieberman, Feinstein, Albright.
If all those Democrats said there were Weapons of Mass Destruction in 1998, would they be "mistaken" or would they have lied?

I've never seen so much slime as the present day White House.

I know that Herbert Hoover's regime was of the Devil and he was a typical republican.

Could it be that an Obama Presidency could have middle eastern appeal because of his inter-racial heritage? Violence would be halted considerably and diplomacy would have a chance to work.

Harry Reid quote one....
On our side of the aisle, Democrats believe they should do something very, very close to what was done in the bill that was sent to the president to be vetoed," Reid said.
ap same article...
Not having enough votes to override the veto but unwilling to back down, House Democrats last week pushed through a new bill that would fund the war only through July. That bill is unlikely to survive the Senate, where several Democrats say they do not want to appear to be turning their backs on the troops by funding combat in installments.
quote three same article
Accordingly, Reid and Sen. Carl Levin (news, bio, voting record) proposed that the Senate vote on legislation demanding troop withdrawals begin on Oct. 1 but allowing Bush to waive that requirement.
Why cant Harry get it
"The bottom line is that a date for retreat is a date for retreat, and the president opposes such provisions Dana Perrino, White House Spokesman.

It seems that most politicians of both major parties, democrats & republicans, are "playing politics" with the illegal alien problem. So many people are getting really angry that their elected leaders seem to be ignoring them and subverting this nation for political gain & their own self-interests. Both big parties cry out for action against terrorism but allow millions to cross the borders illegally and are even conspiring to confer citizenship upon them! Uninvited guests help themselves to our hard-earned benefits, and the fed.'s are helping to force us to allow it, maybe even to pay social security to Mexican nationals. People are so tired of being betrayed by our government. Let's make the illegals go home and show kindness to those who are willing to abide by our laws. Instead, the gov't. wants to force us to bless lawbreakers who jump in front of others. I plan to vote against these people. Will the USA revolt & puke out it's leaders in favor of those who care about US?

The Ku Klux Klan Mobsters were all Democrats who held Law Enforcement and Political positions.
A Republican by the name of Abraham Lincoln stood up to the Plantation Boys and told them your game is over; Their is a new Sheriff in town and that Sheriff is ME. Thank you, President Lincoln - The first Civil Rights Activist.

* Is President George W. Bush selling out the delegates in the Republican party by not working to change his approval rating?

* Will the Republican delegates work to separate themselves more and more from the President so as not to hurt themselves come re-election?

* Will the rush to separate themselves from the President, force enough Republicans to align themselves with Democrats and Independents create a "tipping point" within the voting structure?

* Is there enough of a schism within the Republican Party to finally push the U.S. into a three party system?

*What does GOP mean?
