Any person either a male or female could be voted as President as long as qualified for the position and sincere to serve the people.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if a male or female will win.

I'd vote for a trans-gender president if I thought they were the most qualified AND they were running with the same stance that I have on 1. The war on terror and in Afghanistan and Iraq 2. Immigration problems 3. Social Security 4. Welfare 5. Health Care and some of our other national concerns.

I would never vote for a candidate simply because they are male or female. My test is "Do they have a track record for upholding the U.S. Constitution?" We all need to remember that it's the Costitution that freed a nation (our nation). Some politicians while paying "lip service" to the constitution have actually disregarded it and we have already lost some freedoms because of it. Out of the candidates so far I like Ron Paul the best because he isn't just lip service but has the track record to back it up.

So if Ron Paul is still in it and no one else better than Ron Paul shows up in the race I'll vote for a Male.

Frankly, anyone who votes based on solely Gender, race or religion, etc is not voting responsibly. You need to do "homework" and look at track records and see what they'll do to protect your freedoms.

Yes. I have every intention of voting for a male or female for president. I didn't know there were any other options. I always have & always will vote for the person I think will be best for the country. In 08 I will not vote for a female because the only female running is a sociopath.

Questions like these invoke a cognitive bias. Regardless of the candidate people will have a preconceived notion about their choice, which gets in the way of choosing the best candidate. The best thing for politics will be when people stop looking to race and gender to come to a general conclusion about a candidate and the decisions they make.

I would vote for the best candidate regardless of gender.

That is why I'm voting for anyone but Hillary. She is the worst candidate, but is likely to win because of her gender.

I would not care as long as the candidate understood that using texttype abbreviations in written communications is nonstandard english and outs the candidate as a fool, a tool, or worse.

Personally, I don't care if the person is male or female. I would vote for the person that I felt would do the best job and who held closest to my beliefs and opinions.

When I am going to vote i do not focus on age, sex, religion, ethinicity, or sexual orientation. what i focus on is the person's beliefs, character, courage to face adversity, and having an equal stance as me on issues which i find important, the things listed above do not build character and do not play roles in someone's ability to be a leader.

Yes, male or female, as long as the candidate has shown sufficient competency and political views that are less unacceptable to me than any others'.
