I vote but I don't know if I make any difference or not.No matter who wins they all turn out to be the same lying, crooked, swindling, greedy, power hungry morons anyways.Their gonna do what they want once they're elected anyways.

It matters. I'm a libertarian too. Which often means I don't like either candidate. But, even voting for a third party matters, because there are so many people in this world that crunch election numbers, even if your vote "doesn't matter" so to speak for the outcome, it matters to analysts. And I do believe it's true that you have little right to complain if you are not willing to make a decision and put the effort into enacting that decision.

Of course it matters. If you want to make an even bigger difference, you could volunteer for a campaign or lobby group that represents a cause you're passionate about.
If you don't feel that your vote matters enough, then do more, not less. Civic Participation goes beyond simple voting and b!tching.

Look at the last two presidential elections. Bush lost the popular vote both times, yet the electoral college put him in the white house. That should pretty much tell you where your vote goes.

If you do not vote, there is a chance you could end up being governed by the Minority instead of the Majority and it would be dangerous for the People and the Country...

yes and no...
voting in times of upheaval can give a way to count your forces....
voting in times like today can seem disconnected because both Republicans and Democrats represent an interest of the rich. most people aren't rich.
also, congress doesn't decide if you get laid off or not. or what how much you get paid.

Didn't you notice in 2006 how things changed? That was due to voters. Maybe you didn't like the changes, but that wasn't the question.

If you are not happy with the government and you don't vote out incumbents you are part of the problem.
