I've never seen so much slime as the present day White House.

I know that Herbert Hoover's regime was of the Devil and he was a typical republican.

I think so...I would not trust Bush with my Cat. I am voting for Hilary Clinton...Remember the peaceful years ? That was because of Bill & Hilary Clinton. Hilary can move mountains... She can fix everything Bush messed up. When Bush lied about how terrible everything was when the Clinton's left office, Bush should be ashamed because the Clinton's left office when the United States was doing better then it has in a lot of Years. Bush screwed all of that up and put the blame on them. I would like to know what Bush did with all that money the United States had???

I promise you, the Democrats have had their
slime as well. Remember Rostinkowski?
More recently, remember Jeffers (the guy who
had money in his freezer)?

No, I don't count infidelity (e.g. Clinton) as part
of this. Some of our greatest leaders and most
important citizesn have personally been cads.
Jefferson, Franklin, Einstein were all known to
have dallied.

However, I believe that the party that carries
"family values" around like a flag has some inate
attribute that tends towards extreme corruption.
That is, we seem to see a lot of people who
LITERALLY preach one thing and practice
another.

However, that is neither the majority, nor
even vaguely representitive.

The recent bunch, however, seems to have
hoodwinked the entire party into believing
that oil=morality.

The corrupt will quickly rise to the positions
of great power and visibility. The devoted,
consistant, well meaning majority get stained
with the blood of their leader's travesties.

I wonder if THIS is the "silent majority" that
the Republicans were talking about in the 70s...
The sincere, smart, non-corrupt Republicans!

No, but there is a culture of permissiveness in the Republican party. For example, Mark Foley, a pedophile, being appointed the chair of the missing and exploited children committee.

There were 31 democrats who voted to impeach Clinton for lying about an affair, yet no Republicans willing to impeach Bush for lying to start a war in Iraq. Makes you wonder which party really holds themselves to a higher standard, doesn't it?

Have you ever heard of the saying, " People that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." ? The lib far left Dem. party needs to clean up its own cesspool of a mess. Go examine Barney Frank, Pelosi, Dean, Reid, Ted Kennedy, etc...
And by the way, LBJ was a Dem. and as corrupt as they get and also why the Vietnam conflict was escalated into a total disaster. And then you have the Carter admin. that was also a total fiasco and almost brought this country to a collapse. Ooops, did you get boulders thrown at your glass house? I think your house is breaking.
By the way, for what it is worth, I am an independent and vote for whom I think will represent the people and not their own pockets and far left communist/socialist agenda.

Standing with this President after what theyknow he has done regarding willful and blatant lies leading to this war,

All Republicans are being percieved as crooked and close minded.

I know this is not true, there are many good Americans that have voted republican, i don't understand why they risk their entire parties credibility on what they know are lies

Most politicians are scum sucking A holes, but the Republicans tend to be like pedophiles in prison, even their peers hate them.
