I am interested in the opinions of others' as to whether Les Miles' contract with LSU, which enforces payment of a penalty to LSU upon acceptance of a position at UM is lawful or not.

In Les Miles' contract with LSU, there is a specific exemption which says that if he leaves LSU for UM (and only UM) that he must pay a 1.25 million dollar penalty to LSU.

If it is lawful, why? Conversely if it isn't, why?

I haven't seen this question asked anywhere in the media yet and was curious. Thanks for your thoughts.

Okay, so I have to create a t-shirt slogan about George Washington or James Madison for my History class and I can't think of one. It can't be "Father of Our Country" or "Father of Our Constitution" either. For example, Ben Franklin's slogan is "World's Oldest Delegate". So, can someone help me? Please?!?!

WASHINGTON, DC - November 30 - Green Party leaders called on President Bush to cancel an order directing the CIA to interfere with a December 2 voters' referendum in Venezuela and to cease actions intended to stabilize the Chavez government.

"President Chavez and the people of Venezuela are not America's enemy. We demand that the White House respect the sovereignty of other countries and the democratic will of the Venezuelan people, who have repeatedly affirmed their support for President Chavez and his policies," said Jill Bussiere, Wisconsin representative to the Green Party's International Committee.
"The memo describes secret US-supported actions against the Chavez government that constitute acts of war against a nation at peace with the US. These operations are consistent with other US acts of aggression against Venezuela, including the failed 2002 coup attempt, to which the Bush Administration lent active support," Ms. Bussiere added.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit Friday that challenged a suburban Washington county's recent effort to clamp down on illegal immigrants, one of the toughest such crackdowns in the country:

Thank God it's about time that the government started following the law. Illegal means illegal and they have no rights period. This was upheld by a Federal Judge who tossed their vile claim to rights in the US> I can't belive the unmitigated gall of these illegals; they dare demand RIGHTS here in the US after they have brought their crime waves to the US!

Illegals violently kill 25 Americans every day and 7 of 10 of the FBI's most wanted are illegal aliens:

Finally it seems that the "legal" "profession" is starting to get that if they keep violating the will of the people that we are going to rise up and sweep them from office and

I am currently going through the application process to become a PCSO. I should shortly be completing the Police medical examination, and I would like to know more about this.

Firstly, I don't really like exposing examinations, so I ask how much clothing will I have to take off?

Secondly, I am not very comfortable with physical contact from strangers (even though they will be medical professionals), so I ask to what extent will I be physically examined?

Finally, I would just like to ask, is the medical examination low-key, i.e. a blood test, a urine test, and perhaps a pulse check, or does it involve more meticulous inspection of the body?

Thank you to anyone who provides me with feedback, especially those of you who have completed this medical examination.

I understand this is, for the most part, based on desire. I also understand the corps comes first and when I sign those papers I expect nothing less, but I do have to look out for my future and just wanted some info.

This is my plan:
What I want to do is go in to the intel field, move over to counter intel and during all this work up to becoming a scout sniper. However, during my first four years or so I want to earn my college degree. I am looking at going in enlisted because I feel it is important in becoming a efficient officer. My real questions I guess are : Are the online degrees worth much?, Is it really possible to earn a college degree while in the Corps or do they move you around too much?

I want everyone who has something to say, to answer, but please keep in mind I am looking for facts here so if at all possible please hold your opinions. Thanks!

For those of you who are too unstable to look up the link, the poll revealed that 58% of Republicans polled considered themselves to be in excellent mental health, as opposed to 38% of Democrats and 48% of Independants. The self-help solution is pretty obvious.

My son is in his sophomore year in Catholic High School and he was the victim of bullying since his first year by some older kids. Unbeknownst to me he got a knife from his cousin to bring with him to school for protection.
When he went to his locker in between classes that group of kids that bothered him were there and they slammed his locker on him and began mocking them. From what he said happened was that he told them to F off and leave him alone and one of the other guys shoved at him. My son then took out his knife and he slashed it against that kids arm and he began bleeding very badly. My son just took his books and went to his next class while that other guys friends were screaming for help.
The police were called to school and my son was arrested. He is out now because he is a minor and under my supervision but the family who my son hurt is sueing us for assault with a deadly weapon and my won was expelled.
Any chance we can walk away from this? What cane we do?

When my mother got her citizenship they took my greencard, but said that I am an active resident still. Not a citizen. An IMPORTANT issue came up that I have to leave the country in a week and a half. Am I going to be able to return back inth the country with my SS# and/or My Greencard number? (A#) and/or a copy of my green card? HELP PLEASE. Is there anyway that I can get my Green card back without re-applying for a new one?????

As with most questions re: Iran, the West gets very little info, or very little info that I think we can rely upon, about how the average Iranian feels about its government's programs and objectives. I am curious to hear what an average Iranian (someone with Iranian citizenship or roots) thinks about nuclear development in the country: For example, do they have the right to develop nuclear capability for peaceful purposes; are the current programs peaceful ones; does Iran have a moral and legal right to develop nuclear weapons as a deterence against agression. What is the general mood of Iranians on these types of questions.

Okay if you get getting relieved from the military and they said they are going to pay for the transportation/movement costs to your home of record.. like when are you allowed to use that money?

If your "final out" day is the 4th of December do you have to move back home ONLY on the 4th??

Or can you like wait to week to try to find a new job (and if you dont?) Will they pay TMO after you tried to find a new job?

Sorry if this sounds confusing
