I don't mean the dictionary liberals....I mean the strawman creation that the right wing talk show bozos are always going on about. Are there really so many people with real power, position and authority that 'hate America', want to raise your taxes, don't 'support' the troops and all that other jazz to actually be some kind of threat? Most people hold moderate, live and let live opinions and nobody wants to impose either socialisim or communisim on the United States. I think it's a phoney issue. The 'liberals' are anyone not fully on board with the Bush Junta! Wadda' 'ya think?

that they would not have had to wear in the country of their ancestors? Sure, I recognize that some African countries wear clothes because some U.S. tourists are offended by nudity, and I recognize that nudity in the U.S. is only healthy and comfortable in the warmer months, but that is no reason to spurn the culture of persons whose parents were brought here against their will!

If someone crosses that "No Trespassing" field and they're caught and arrested by those MPs, can't they have some positive options to that it doesn't have to hurt them?

How about letting them join? Maybe people cross it because they wanna join on the action. Can't they somehow get charges dropped, something that can be comromosied?

People in the goverernment are not better people that people who are not in the goverernment, so why do some people only the people in the government have a right to know about giant mutuated spiders from that movie "Ice Spiders", yet others aren't allowed to and if those Ice Spiders hurt those people or even kill others, that their no compensation? That would be terribly unfair.

No matter how much or little we are taxed in the US, spending is always out of control. We have increased the debt every year now for over a generation...meaning spending ALWASY exceeds revenues.

If half the people that put so much energy into how we are taxed put that same energy into the issue of federal spending, how we are taxes would be far less important.

This is a problem that crosses over both parties, as both up a pretty even share of Congress. Blaming one party or the other is not only unproductive, its denial. We need to have a movement that really puts a stop to this out of control spending or the US truly will go bankrupt in time.

FISA laws, torture, outing a covert agent, much we don't yet know about, etc. etc. If Bush has not been indicted by the time he leaves office, can the next Prez give him a "blanket pardon" that would cover any future convictions? Bush's father did it with some Iran-Contra figures, but they, although not yet convicted, had been indicted.

For those that know his message, (a message that is not knew) it is easy to support the view; however, often it seems to me that Paul has been seen as a kook because he brings forth ideas that are not well understood by the masses while not being charismatic enough to drive home the point.

To those that only are hearing the ideals for the first time, they see this man who is a not the best of speakers suddenly saying we should get rid of the Fed or Department of Education and just assume he is a kook.

The fact is, whether one agrees or disagrees, there is an intelligent view to his positions that when presented well makes a lot of sense as to why one would logically come to those conclusions. Paul's presentation of those positions has not been great.

Will it take a much more charismatic speaker to accomplish real change?
