The President has virtually unlimited power of pardon. Note that Ford pardoned Nixon before any indictments were presented, for the purpose of sparing the country the spectacle of having an ex-President brought up on charges. I suppose Hillary could do the same for Bush. On the other hand, considering what the Republicans put her husband through for no good reason, I doubt she'd be that charitable if it ever came to it. Which, by the way, I doubt it would.

In case you haven't seen the news in the last 4 years, The Bush haters have been attempting to do nothing but proof all these empty unfounded accusations.
The new Congress has spent most of this year doing the same thing, they have been so busy with investigations that they still haven't passed the Bills that were due on 1 Oct 07.
In case you haven't seen a calender that was 2 months ago. I think its time to give it up.

No. You obviously can't pardon somene before they're found guilty. And if 50% of the people in this country say they would never consider voting for her, what are the chances that she'll ever become president? Interestingly enough, of that 50%, only 2% said they'd never vote for a woman, and of the women who were asked, 58% said they would never vote for Hillary. People don't hate women, they just really really hate Hillary.

Don't forget she'd have to pardon him for conspiracy since he knew about the 9/11 attacks before they happened. That whole book thing was a great cover too, I don't know why people don't believe he just wanted to finish the book since the planes already hit. It's not like he could do anything at that point, right? *wink, wink*

Course its ok if Billy boy does it but not the Bushes. Just gotta love circumlocution and ignorance.!! But then ignorance is bliss in your case isnt it?

Are you on drugs? Why havent we heard about all of this on your CNN? Where are all the attorneys? From all I see, I rest my case that you are spreading hate rumors, trying to get a force to believe you. With the Senate and House held by the Democrat party--If there was truth to your lies, action would have been taken, so unless you can back it up,,,,STFU!!!

Presidents typically do pardon their predecessors for crimes commited in office.
Bush's crimes are too lengthy to list, and he would certainly be convicted of any number of crimes he and his cronies commited. There's at least 10 criminal conspiracies he is chargeable for.
However, the executive tradition will likely continue. Pardons are not exclusionary, although they should be (pardoned for some things but not others).

Bush won't be convicted of anything so no pardon will be necessary.

Technically she would have that power. However, why would a liberal Democrat pardon a right-wing conservative Republican? What would be her motivation?
