the UN is trying to strip american citizens of thier right to bear arms
what is your opinion of this and would you be willing to join the UN in the fight to do so even if it meant invading the US to force this policy upon american citizens?

"Where are you going to get that money? Are you going to tell us lies like you're telling us today? Is that how you're going to fund the war? You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old, enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement." --Pete Stark (D-CA), 10/18/07

Its In bill, S.1710 the Labor/HHS/Education spending bill that’s being debated in the Senate right now.

http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/cpquery/T?&report=sr107&dbname=110&

Do a search on “Clinton” a whole bunch of times (she has quite a few line items in this bill, $500k here, $250k there, $1.5 million over there) and you’ll eventually land at this earmark.
$950k for the New School’s Institute for Urban Education, sponsored by Hillary and Sen. Chuck Schumer that your favorite fundraiser just happens to have been a board member of.

I’m reminded of this fun quote of her husband’s from a 1997 press conference.
I don’t believe you can find any evidence of the fact that I have changed government policy solely because of a contribution.
Yup. That’s how the Clintons roll, isn’t it.

Liberals are perennially enraged that Republicans are allowed to talk back. For years, this wasn't a problem, because, in Lenin's immortal words, they had seized the telegraph office. There were only three TV stations, three major newspapers, and a handful of national magazines, all run by liberals. But at least since Rush Limbaugh got a microphone, liberals haven't been able to make arguments in a vacuum.

We are still waiting for the DNA test to come back. The person who raped me is still working in that hospital and works in an isolated room alone with the patients. Now, I haven't been able to get much help or information.

Today, I contacted my State Representative and she is contacting the states attorneys office. Is this something that should have been done in the beginning of the investigation?? How can they help and what will they do to help me?? Will they help to get him out of the hospital and away from patients?? Any extra info. you can give is appreciated?

The calculus of living paycheck to paycheck in America is getting harder. What used to last four days might last half that long now. Pay the gas bill, but skip breakfast. Eat less for lunch so the kids can have a healthy dinner.

Across the nation, Americans are increasingly unable to stretch their dollars to the next payday as they juggle higher rent, food and energy bills. It's starting to affect middle-income working families as well as the poor, and has reached the point of affecting day-to-day calculations of merchants like Wal-Mart Stores Inc., 7-Eleven Inc. and Family Dollar Stores Inc.

Article 13 of the US Constitution prohibits any US Citizen from accepting a title of nobility or royalty. Beginning with President Reagan, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth and given the title Sir Knight, a title of Nobility and fidelity to the British Monarch. Likewise, both Presidents Bushs have been knighted by Queen Elizabeth with the additional proclaimation "for services rendered to the United Kingdom." President Clinton was knighted by Queen Elizabeth as well. According to Article 13 of the Constitution, accepting these titles would equate to renoucing citizenship. Some people say the title simply honorary. Indeed it is not the title of Knight p[laces a flag and coat of arms in the recipients name in the grand hall. The title is also hereditery in the UK.
Presidents previous to Reagan had been offered knighthood, for example Eisenhower. Many US generals also offered knighthood by Queens and Kings of England. All had the good sense of declining the offers.

I just don't understand. She criticizes Obama for his Iran policy and then she goes and says the same thing Obama says; not to mention she bites off of the other democrat's policies as well. I think she is just saying what the people want to hear, and I don't see how no one else sees it. How do you people feel? I feel uncomfortable with her running my country.

All I hear her talking about is Bush and her critism of the Republicans When she has no experience in even running a country; she doesn't even have the expertise people a -credit her with. I feel like the women of the country are going with the fact that she is a girl, which is not how it should be. It should be about the issues and who would be the most effective leader.
The only issue with Hillary is that war; which isn't all that bad.

Here is what i think it is.

First of all, if you don't know the origin of the terms "left-wing" and "right-wing" I suggest you look it up.

People from the right tend to believe that certain groups of people are superior to others based on their nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, sexual orientation, gender, and or social class. The more right-wing a person is, the more this is true.

This explain's con's "english only", ultra-nationalism, hatred of mexicans (& french, gays, muslims, etc) inability to bring in blacks and jews to their side, respect for the rich, scorn for the poor (who they call lazy), christian fundamentalism, and long held hatred for feminists (who believe in equal rights).
