Liberals are perennially enraged that Republicans are allowed to talk back. For years, this wasn't a problem, because, in Lenin's immortal words, they had seized the telegraph office. There were only three TV stations, three major newspapers, and a handful of national magazines, all run by liberals. But at least since Rush Limbaugh got a microphone, liberals haven't been able to make arguments in a vacuum.

Rush Limbaugh and several others offer a diversity of opinion not appreciated by the liberal elites who had controlled so much of the media for so long before the leash of the so called "fairness doctrine" was cut allowing the freedom of speech our constitution says is our right. For that I thank Rush Limbaugh for offering this diversity of opinion and I thank Fox News for reporting the existence of opinions that differ with those of the liberals who controlled the media for so long. Diversity has been held in high esteem by liberals for decades, and liberals should join me in celebrating the diversity offered by those who some in the power structure might disagree with, that offered by Rush Limbaugh and Fox News.

It was a thing of beauty how Rush whipped 41 liberal senators today by taking they're bucket of mud and raising over 2 million bucks plus 2 of his own, for charity. Ann Coulter is right,"if liberals had brains they'd be Republicans"

I am not enraged by anyone's exercising free speech. The Wall Street Journal has never been run by liberals (and is now owned by Rupert Murdock) and has been one of the three major newspapers national newspapers for years.

I am very thankful for Rush.
I also find it funny that some people seem to think that expressing an opinion other than their own is bad for the country. How myopic.
And here I thought freedom of speech was a good thing.....what was I thinking?

Yes but Rush is wrong to back Bush on Turkey and selling out Christians and allowing them to tell us what to do over a non binding Bill HR 106.
It seems that GWB is willing to sell out to Mexico and Turkey and tell the Texas courts to follow the Hag courts so an illegal Mexican who rapes and murders two little girls do not get the death sentence.

i haven't seen myself as being 'grateful', yet what you're saying is actual. and that's what annoys them the main. How dare anybody question their perspectives? assessment this with the strikes of conservatives? I certainly have yet to be sure a published rant against any of the Air u.s. hosts. can we take subject with CBS? particular. yet has anybody even hinted at suggesting we attempt to take them off the air? No. To think of or do one in each and every of those subject may well be absurd. And yet to liberals, such action may well be seen as the two justified and honorable. spectacular, huh?

Actually I am thrilled to have both. This way people can see and understand the idiocy of the uber right wing. All they do is bolster the Democrats toward a landslide in 2008. So go Rush and go Fox. Keep up the good work of driving the sane toward the Democrats. Thanks to both.
