A good portion of our army and national guard are in Iraq and stretched rather thin.

I want to know if this dress is good enough for the marine ball coming up. i had ordered this dress online because my husband and i are in japan and it came in a different color and was not as elegant as i thought it would be, but the color does look good with his dress blues. I also need to take in a little at the top because i lost a little weight up there! Lol Please let me know what you think if this dress or do i need a new one?!!! thank you!

I am in disbelief that Bush vetoed the SCHIP legislature. This was supported by both parties as well as the majority of Americans. Both the Senate and the House of Representatives passed it. I cannot believe that Bush pulled such a stunt. It's not like he even needs to cozy up to big business to finance another campaign - he could have left the presidency with at least this positive legacy behind him. Instead, he vetoes this program. It wasn't even money taken from other parts of the budget - it was a tax on cigarettes which would have paid for it! The man must be insane.

What does everyone else think? Insane or just plain stupid?

Also, please don't make this a dem vs. rep argument. It's neither. I believe this is about one man's act of selfishness (or stupidity?) and not about party politics. After all, he even went against his own party on this one. I'm just curious if some of you want to chime in on this with your opinion.

My husband recently started recruiting duty. Since we have been here, a couple other recruiters have mentioned getting housing vouchers, so it would be like we are in base housing, where rent & utilities will be paid for. We could not find a house for our bah so we are paying a lot out of pocket. The people who mentioned it have no idea how we find out more about it or apply or whatever we need to do. I have never heard of this but am hoping someone here has. Thank you for any help.

Okay so my bf is 20 and lives with his father and stepmother. his stepmother opens/reads his bank statements and, well, pretty much all his mail.
