If there's a coup by the neo-cons it won't be achieved by the use of private armies but rather by the full acquiescence of the US military and most of the US population. This is how it could happen: A perfectly timed war (within months of a presidential election) is initiated with Iran and the Iranians retaliate by invading Iraq, blocking the Strait of Hormuz thus precipitating an energy crisis, and launching missile attacks against Israel. As the 150,000 American troops in Iraq would be heavily outnumbered perhaps 4 or 5 to 1, the use of nuclear weapons would be authorised. This would cause sabre rattling in Moscow and Beijing. The US administration would persuade the country that national security was in jeopardy and that a nuclear attack was a possibility. The election would thus have to be suspended due to the national emergency. There would be many who would argue against this, but they would be berated and slandered by the government and the media as un-American and be accused of not supporting the troops in Iraq. The Republican Supreme Court would authorise the suspension of the election given the grave danger posed to the nation. This "state of emergency" would be maintained indefinitely thus eliminating the democratic state. My bet is that the majority of Americans would support the administration because they would be conviced that the measures were necessary and they would not wish to appear as unpatriotic. The Christian right would be in their glory as this would signal the commencement of Armageddon and they would take to the pulpit and shout that this was no time to talk about democracy and slander everyone who took an opposing view as a liberal, a traitor, and a satanist. It would all happen very, very quickly, and is a very, very frightening prospect.

Ok... sorry about answering one of your previously asked questions that isn't open for answering anymore, but it's annoying me, so here:
you asked about why hasn't the universe collapsed in on itself after going supernova:
and it's because there is a force allowing the universe to expand called Dark Energy. It's exactly the opposite of gravity in every sense, and in the universe, it is slightly stronger than gravity, which is why, though gravity is still in effect, the universe is expanding. This Dark Energy would have to exists more in some places that other though, because if everywhere the Dark Energy was greater than gravity, our earth, for example, would be moving away from the sun. Here, it exists with the same force as gravity. On the other hand, as the Andromeda galaxy slowly moves towards the Milky Way, it shows that here, gravity is stronger than the Dark Energy.
This also may answer your other question, about what allows us to move. The Dark Energy would provide a force that could keep gravity from immobilizing us completely.

nicely first, why do you call blackwater a militia ? Blackwater promises protection guards, purely like brinks and all the different protection shelter companies do. you fairly think of the protection shelter at walmart is an element of a militia ? the great distinction, is blackwater promises protection guards for top threat aspects of the international. maximum of Blackwaters protection, is presented to firms employeess, they have been employed by the corporate, no longer by the U. S. government. To a lot of human beings seem to think of that Blackwater workers are carrying out operations in iraq, thats purely no longer genuine. As to the legality and their criminal liiability. All contractors employed by US companies and all US electorate in Iraq, and under the UCMJ. Do you fairly think of we ought to continually use the american military, to guard some firms workers working in iraq ? enable the firms employ their very own protection guards, purely like they're doing now.

You should be worried about Brinks then.
Since they have more armed agents, than all the others combined.
And actually, less than 10% of our military and National Guard is in Iraq or Afghanistan.

We have currently just over 1.2 million men in the armed forces. Of these there are about 160 thousand in Iraq and Afghanistan. That leaves the US with a little over a million members of the Armed forces station in the US. And i have not heard of any "corporate" armies in existence in America. Do you have links providing evidence of this?

A good point. Personally, I simply would not allow them to return to the United States. We dn't need a bunch of hired killers anyway.
