Your fiance does not have to be in uniform to get married. There is nothing wrong though it getting married in formal/dress uniform. Been to a few weddings in uniform.

At the wedding I assume you mean. The wearing of uniforms to weddings is a privilege not a requirement.

No he does not. He can choose to if he wishes and if you wish, but there is no mandatory requirement.

My first wedding was when I was active Air Force, my second when I was Reserve. Didn't wear the uniform either time.

Yep, even during the honeymoon, combat boots and all... LOL!! I'm not sure where you got this idea, but no way!! I wore a white three piece when I got married, and I was in the Army at the time.

woe, does he have to wear his uniform? Yes, when he's on duty. They all have the option if they want to wear the uniform or not for their wedding day.. My marine didn't wear his dress blues. Wish he had,but he didn't want to. So, no he doesn't have to.

no he doesnt. it is up to him to ask the guard if he can wear it. its how the military looks at it as asking for their blessing.
