In the Korean War, the Koreans welcomed our help and fought side-by-side with us, in Pusan all lived side-by-side.
We were not greeted in Vietnam or Iraq, why the difference?

someone is attempting to sue me and my attorney and I are 100% certain they will loose. My attorney and I know they are simply trying to force us to settle, we won't. I know I should ask my attorney this, but at the moment he is out of town and I have not asked him. He indicated it that a ballpark range on defending myself if it went to court would be $13-$15K, why should I be stuck with this? Would the other party have to pay these costs? Or do I have to then sue them?

Most Iraqis Say “Surge” Failing, Conditions Worsening
While Petraeus is expected to report progress in Iraq, a new poll shows a majority of Iraqis believe the so-called troop surge has failed. Residents around Baghdad say President Bush’s increase of at least twenty-four thousand troops has worsened conditions on the ground. The number of Iraqis now calling for an immediate withdrawal has increased over when the surge began.

why do seven in 10 Iraqis believe the U.S. troop buildup in Baghdad and Anbar province has made security worse in those areas and nearly half want coalition forces to leave immediately.

Fewer than one-quarter of Iraqis report that things in Iraq are going well, down from 35 percent in a similar poll released in March.

According to this latest poll, in key areas - security and the conditions for political dialogue, reconstruction and economic development - between 67 and 70% of Iraqis, or more than two-thirds, say the surge has made things worse.

You have to be a "REGISTERED" {with your state} Republican to vote in the "STATE" Primary elections, in most states.

We have to far outnumber the old-line Republican incumbents who agree with current political policy.

Do you sincerely want a change for a Constitutional run type of American government?

Bush's "fine ally"--the dictator of Pakistan, who staged a coup to seize power--just deported the former Prime Minister--who was elected by the people of Pakistan.

This "ally" of bush's is the same one who, last year, sighned an agreement with al-Qaida granting them sanctuary in Pakistan.

This dictator--Bush's ally whom he continues to support and defend, has thus done exactly what the Taliban did--give sanctuary to America's proven enemies.

Yessiree, Bush is such a great supporter of freedom and democracy. Doesn't it just boggle your mind?

This is the situation: Last year my uncle and his two children (one a college student, the other a 15 year old) moved in with my grandmother because she became ill. He did not notify Housing that he would be staying there. My grandma's health deteriorated over the year and sadly she recently passed. Now Housing wants the apartment vacated in two weeks, but my uncle and his kids have no where to go. What are their options? They have not notified Housing that they are actually living in the apartment for fear that they may implicate themselves even further.

While America toils over Iraq, America knows where terror`s "war on the west" truly originates today...... Why fight radical islam if you are afraid to touch Iran, Syria, and go into Pakistan ? Why fight a "limited war" again ? Don`t forget the last time America fought an "unlimited war"...and it was won in `45.

Are there any good orginizations out there that are working tward that goal? What is needed in order for a program to work nationally, not just in a city or a state? I would like to try and be a part of making sure that everyone is covered for any medical expences, what can I do?

republicans still have such a high approval of bush when the 2008 elections turns out to be a complete rout for the GOP and a landslide victory for the Democrats? Will they still think so highly of him once they realize that he is responsible for the GOP being out of power for decades to come?

By the way, the good general testified that HE is the one who wrote the report. The White House, the Pentagon... Neither of these two government agencies saw the report until he distributed it.

So... Is anyone on the left ready to admit that we ARE making progress in Iraq? Will they admit that MAYBE this is a war we CAN win? Or will they simply continue to spout their baseless- and frankly laughable- rhetoric about this being a "Bush" report and smearing a man who has actually risked his life for this country?
