How many more Iraqis need to die so that the Americans understand their government can do no good to the people of the Middle East?

"do you know millions more vietnamess murdered by and died in sea trying to escape from the communists after we pulled out in 1975?"
How many Boomer? Give me a link. I have been asking for this information for months now.
Let's get it clear: The US is responsible for the deaths of 4M Vietnamese. Many an international body acknowledges that the US committed war crimes in Viet Nam and owes reparations.
We'll just have to wait 'till the Hague judges your actions in Iraq.
You are not free from crime. Not even relatively. Not even compared to Saddam, Hitler or Pinochet.... all of whom have been you allies, puppets or clients, if you did not know.

Yes, four million died in Vietnam but in Iraq, hardly a million mark also not reached. Wait for more action and we will wait to see that to happen! Here in Iraq the whole show is different except occupation of Allied forces and the death of people in Sunny-Shia clashes is far more than those who died in the direct war with USA, sine this time the scenario has changed due to change of cold war era and there is no support from any communist nations! Its sad that the claim of world's best democracy is now hollow and we witness, the bad decision of policing the world and forcing the policy in the most undemocratic and brutal way for IRAQ to accept and continues the same, the world over! The simplest being that it did not ensure to take the support and confidence of all nations by a clear majority voting in the United Nations for the war itself shows how the USA got isolated in its objective and to get itself painted as the enemy of IRAQ and the Muslim world! Just a team of TEN best and intelligent fresh graduates from the US Universities can draft the best policy for IRAQ better than the Congress to solve this issue!

Even by now, USA must polarize the opinion of the ARAB WORLD to support the cause of democracy in Iraq and must ensure a bilateral treaty to maintain a special status for IRAQ with UN forces deployed to enable the allied troops to pull out of Iraq! This will save the face of USA, but this would be most unlikely to happen, so long a powerful lobby guides and governs the power of the United States!

If we weren't over there killing them they'd have to resume killing each other again. At least it's good that we keep them occupied so they don't bring their iciocy over here. The homeland of many religions is now Satin's playground. It's kind of like living in a neighborhood with gang activity. But the neighborhood is planet earth and the gangs are the terrorists. As with any other gang they are just individuals but in a group the gang mentality plays out. Show me any gang who has lasted and had power for any amount of history that mattered. Ultimately they all fail. Remember the good old days when the Mafia was really powerful. By todays standards they were gentlemen.

A: As many as it takes to convince enough of the the dwindling minority who still believe the following fallacies:

1. As long as it takes to get "the job" (secure the oil? make sure they won't elect anything other than a puppet government? finding "WMD"? whatever?) done or:
2. We needed to invade because of UN resolutions, which countries like Zimbabwe, etc, can ignore, that were allegedly not respected by Iraq or;
3. The country, brought to its knees by US (plus puppets) somehow are better off with the author of its misfortunes than without it.
or
B. As long as it takes the Democrats to put together enough vertebrae to make up one entire backbone between them and not propose some weak pro-war-anti-war-not-so-sure candidate like Clinton for the next presidential election.

PS: You would think, reading some of the posts here, that we were talking about the deaths of hobbits or fleas. We are talking about real human beings, people like you and me, people whose lives are being destroyed by a war. Does nobody care about these human lives?

I don't know if it's quite that many. From what I remember, it was more on the lines of 1-2 million. And keep in mind, that it didn't reach this number until well after we left Vietnem.

I have huge doubts about this 4 million figure you conjured up and why you are more concerned about Iraqi's than Americans. So I am sure you won't care when I say over 12,000 innocent Americans are killed annually by illegal aliens.

The majority were killed AFTER we quit the police action and the weak willed politicians gave in and allowed the slaughter to take place! The same thing will happen in Iraq! USMC 60-68

How many Iraqis can be killed in the genocidal civil war that will follow the US pull out, if it happens to soon, for you not to be OK with it? If we leave to soon another Bosnia or Rwanda will happen. Then will you blame the US for letting that happen?
