Has the US 'surge' in Iraq been successful? No.
Keep Iraq in occupation for a longer period of time test US war strategy one by one and say since no.1 has failed let us try tricks No.2 then No.3 so on so forth. You know why Iraq is not made part of the USA because they can not get another military exercise field and no one invades its own country so keep the puppets of Iraq in the helm of affairs and real power vest with the US soldiers on the ground and the US Government in the Washington .

the words that you hear is not from petraeus. his speech has been sanitized by the Bush's party. Bush's head is of no use to him or anything.

this is the same crap that went on during the viet nam war. prez. johnson had convinced himself that the war was win-able and he surrounded himself with yes men that told him it was win-able. so the US stayed until we lost almost 40,000 men and women and never really had an accurate enemy body count. the u.s. military always released estimations on viet cong dead. but johnson never really got true information because he didn't want to hear true information. and the same goes for johnson's fellow texan, george w. bush
