Lemon Law Buyback??? I bought a used car..... found THAT on the title AFTERwards....?
I bought a used car (2006 Pontiac GTO) about two months ago and JUST recently found out that the title has a lemon law/manufacturer buyback on it. It was a defect in the paint supposedly. It claims that the defect was remedied, then sold at auction.......

then over the course of the past year it has been retitled, but the lemon law thing still pops up........

SHOULD the dealer have told me about this in WRITING when I purchased the car, or have they gone against the law???? (I'm from Illinois)...... I've been reading here and there that if a car was previously bought back because of a defect/lemon law that it should be presented to you in writing at the time of sale if the car gets resold later. The dealership never told me ANYTHING!

Am I able to do something about this, like take the dealership to court or have them buy it back or something???

OK a few questions... you don't need to anwer them all
1) is there still the threat of terroism and WMDs in Iraq that we are fighting for, or is the "goal" just to get a democracy now...in other words, if we were to pull out, what danger would we be in from iraq?
2) Wtih the US/UN troops still fighting there, what is their current state of government?
3)was there any truth behind the "dangers of terrorism and WMD" excuse for going to iraq?
4) in simple words, what are the two sides of the civil war in iraq?

please if I could have unbiased answers that would be great... add your opinion if you'd like but it would be great if you could first give me an answer that is all fact

Will one go to jail if you cant make it too court for unforseen reasons, just for a stupid meter ticket that someone else did because they used your car without your permision while you were serving your country.

Is democracy really that great when we vote for representatives every 3/4 years (depending where people live)and moan about what they do inbetween? Are we really living in a democract society when we only vote once/twice (again depending which country) on a representatives and not the issues that come to front in the elective period.?

They believe this because he invaded Iraq because of WMD's...there were no WMD's.

They believe this because he and his administration insinuated that Iraq was involved in our terrible national tragedy of 9-11...Iraq was not.

They believe this because he and his AG, Gonzalez allowed torture...they certainly did.

tyrannical, wannabe dictator since Ceaser. I got the tickets and I was deployed over seawith the Army. Some drove my car without my permission and now I am ordered to court and if I dont show up they say they are going to put a warrant for my arrest. It kind of seems excessive, I called them and they say its for a meter, and a do not park over nite ticket. They were rude over the phone and say they stick it to lots of other people who were on active duty and out of state when they got their tickets.

After 10 months, I'm still in Europe. No cable news here. What has been happening on Fox News? Bill O'Reilly? Greta Van Susteren? Specifically, I would like to know:

1) Does it look like North Korea will not be able to hoodwink Bush like he did Clinton?

2) Aren't either Newt Gingrich or Condi Rice going to announce a bid for the Presidency? Who else could win?

3) (for Greta fans): Anything new with the Natalie Holloway investigation? On the official website, it says she may have been forcibly taken off the island. What about Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers?

4) Any more rumors of Saddam's WMD's hidden in Syria? Has anyone speculated that is the reason Nancy Pelosi rushed to Syria as soon as she became speaker, to try and prevent cooperation between Al-Assad and Bush?

5) Are voters getting fed up with Hillary and Obama? Which one has a better chance of getting the nomination?

I baby sit a 4 year old boy. I did a search on the internet for his mothers name, to see if i could find her email address, so i could email her daycare news. Instead, i found very provocative, naked pictures of herself that she posted on sex sites. Im concerned about the 4 year old boy being around this behavior at home. If i show these pictures to Social Services, can they do anything about it?

I mean it's legal to show an infants back side of TV but not a 4 year olds. I'm not advocating it in anyway I don't even believe that a newborn should be showed that way, I just want to know where is the line drawn!!!

lies and propaganda since the beginning (and im a republican, an ashamed one) everyone rallied to his BS, but now, those same people condemn him. perhaps you now see that maybe 9/11 was an action our government might have had a heavy hand in? perhaps the WMDs that didnt exist sparked it. or was it the fact that the sentiment "if we fight over there we dont have to fight here" really doesnt make any sense (eventually wed fight here when we were too weak to fight there). when did you people finally wake up?
