I mean, the Republicans say that in order to support the troops we must support GW Bush's administration. Thus far, all they really did for the troops is cut their VA benefits, extend their time away from home and stir up even more trouble for them in the Middle East by purposefully ticking off every Muslim there into a murderous rage.

How can I Support my Librarian the way my government Supports Our Troops? Should I try making her job harder & longer and cutting all her benefits? Should I call her a libtard whenever she asks to go home for Christmas, and a traitor when she expresses a dislike for her boss' policies of being a prick to her? Won't she appreciate more work for less time off and lackluster medical coverage?

When I am scattering the books to make her job more difficult and people yell at me to quit being an ******, should I point at them and scream "you dont support the librarian!"? If somebody offers her a ride home, should I call them treasonous traitors?

In his PDB (President's Daily Briefing) on 08-06-01, CIA Director George Tenet told Dubya about hijacking plans by Al-Qaeda to strike within the U.S.

The title of that PDB was, "Bin Laden Determined To Strike in US".

Dubya still blames CIA/FBI for not warning him ahead of time!

What ELSE did he need? A video of "HOW" it'd actually happen?

Decisions to go to war are taken by people who rarely put their own children in harm's way - Bush, Bin Laden, Blair, etc. So you have to take their word for it that the war is necessary to protect your country or your faith.

And those who return alive from wars are always treated so shabbily by the country they were told they have to "save"

I love my country, but it's no better than any other (including yours, unless you're Zimbabwean) so while I'd die for family and friends, I'd never do it for nationalism. And certainly not for any religion. What do you think ?

With the bridge collapse tragedy in Minnesota, how long will it be until the blame gets pointed at President Bush? I am guessing some friend of Al Franken or some far gone lefty is out there trying their best to tie the tragedy back to President Bush. Even though the bridge had passed inspections and the deck was being repaired, the finger will be pointed. After all, isn't everything else that goes wrong in this world eventually blamed on Bush? I know some of you may be thinking this is in bad taste, but wasn't blaming 9/11 and the alleged Global warming crisis on President Bush a bit of poor taste as well?

With the average of over 16,000 murders a year in the United States, why is not there an outcry from the left for us to leave our own country. This is over 4 times the amount of U.S. losses in Iraq in over four years just in one year in our own country. Yes, I ask this question in jest, but, that is exactly why judging a fight on how many losses you have is never a good idea.

I was opposed to the invasion from start. I said, 'not in my name'. I do not accept being included in the "us". I don't support Bush now, I never will, I think Bush/Cheney are traitors. The war is doing GREAT harm to the US. I think the ONLY patriotic position is to vehemently oppose the war, calling for withdrawal as fast as is physically possible.

As a result of the incessant push towards Socialism, governments today are expected to provide more services than ever.

Whether it be welfare (both individual and corporate) or entitlements (think SS, Medicaid, and possibly UHC very soon), the push beginning in the 1930's for the government to provide for every aspect of life has begun to strain our governments, to the point of neglecting services that almost EVERYONE thinks should be provided, such as infrastructure and defense.

Should we expect more disasters such as the Minnesota bridge collapse and sending ill-equipped soliders to war in the future as the government is expected to provide more and more? Especially considering that our tax base is going to begin shrinking very soon (baby boomer retirement).

i asked a question about what the difference between socialism and the american "democratism" is, but all I got was statements supporting their views, and putting down the views of people who support personal responsibility. nothing about what the difference is. why can't you just admit it? you are socialists.
