democrats dont know what socialism is?

i asked a question about what the difference between socialism and the american "democratism" is, but all I got was statements supporting their views, and putting down the views of people who support personal responsibility. nothing about what the difference is. why can't you just admit it? you are socialists.

I believe since Day 1 of the FDR period in our country it was their intention to create a socialist system in out country. The problem is that most people are stead-fast against socialism in this country so they have to rename their socialist ideas into something else so it doesn't come up on peoples commy radar.

The problem now is that they have been using this strategy for so long that they have fooled themselves. As long as they use phrases like Central Planning, Univerals Health Care, and not Government Controls Business and Socialised Medicen then they are OK with it.

1. The Nazis rounded up Christians as well as Jews.
2. Jesus was a Jew.

5. Of course they'd hate Communism. What were Germany's relations with RUSSIA?!? Pick up those books again.

Socialism is a way of communal living with individuals working for the common good rather then for themselves. It is not an oppressive government system, in fact, a real socialist society should not need a government. Russia and China are not and never were socialist.

There have been socliaist societies though- early christan societies when they decided to implement the teachings of Jesus Christ into their individual lives, Groups of Christians in the 3rd century joined together in socialist collectives, many of which lasted for 150 years!

That's what happens when you listen to Jesus' teachings I guess- you start getting liberal. Jesus is still he most liberal figure in history, did you know THAT?

Oh,. BTW- the National socialist party of germany was created to make a place for everybody in the political spectrum ti was a national socialist group- national being nationalistic pride and socialist- the exact oppisite in terms of political ideas. Hitler however hijacked the party and swung it to the right. If you look at their platforms from their time in power: They hated socialists, communists, and they thought everything was giant jewish conspiracy (sound similar to communist Hollywood jews?) they claimed free trade for large business, they talked about traditional values... The ideology is pretty much the same. The executions are not and never will be in the USA, thank god.

Democratism is the idea that every member of a population has a say in what direction they will take moving forward. Socialism is the idea that every member of a population contributes to shared services for that population. The two are completely unrelated. However, the American Democrat party has been known to embrace socialistic ideals (universal health care). The Republicans do too though, Nixon started Social Security.
