It depends on rank anyway.

It depends on their rank and time in service.
An E-8 with 10 years makes 57K/year.
An E-5 with 10 years makes 48K/year.
2 people with equal rank and time in service would not have equal pay because of where they are based, dependents, etc. So there is no pat answer.
