this guy I'm dating claims to have been raised in Mongolia for 10 years, where his army dad supposedly met his mongolian mother.
I have a variety of reasons to believe he might be a pathological liar.
Has anyone ever been stationed there who was in the US military, or have you ever heard of a us soldier going to freaking MONGOLIA????

like the massive deficit spending seen under Bush?

I certainly think so. The generation that does the spending should be the generation that does the paying. I think it is not only wrong, but IMMORAL to spend like there is no tomorow and then expect our children to pay for it.

Funny how its the "fiscal conservatives" who always create the largest deficits.

You heard right, sports fans!

According to a federal report released Friday (Impacts of Abstinence Education Programs), youth in the program group were no more likely than control group youth to have abstained from sex and, among those who reported having had sex, they had similar numbers of sexual partners and had initiated sex at the same mean age.

Participants were a cross-section of middle class, two-parent, white, non-Hispanic, and poor African-American and Hispanic, in both urban and rural settings. Of 2,057 youths, 1,029 were assigned to the program group and 848 to the control group.

The survey was given after 4-6 participation in the study. Avg. age 16.5

"After 10 years and $1.5 billion in public funds these failed abstinence-only-until-marriage programs will go down as an ideological boondoggle of historic proportions," said James Wagoner, president of Advocates for Youth.

No liberal in congress or the senate sleeps at night with hands clean of blood. Any conservative holding high office is in the same boat. The only thing that separates them at this point is where their campaign funding comes from. When are people going to realize that it is not a dem or rep issue....it is a life and death one.

Okay, so we've now figured out that there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Great. Sweet. But... we're still there. ...why?

If I'm not mistaken, the "threat" of WMD's were a good part of the reason why the war was started. But now that it was confirmed that they're not there, common sense dictates that we pull out, as we are causin' nothing but trouble and the deaths of our men and innocent people in Iraq. So... why are we still there?

I agree that our borders need to be secure and that something should be done about how illegals come in.

But I hear so many comments that are blatantly based on hatred for a group of people that are just trying to feed their families in a world filled with poverty.

If any of you have anger, you should direct it on your president who hasn't done a thing about it, only propose a silly wall that will cost millions.

If you want to get mad, get mad at:
Walmart
Local Restaurants
Local Hotels
Farmers
Contractors
Congressman
The Wealthy that hire them as maids
the list goes on.....

. . . send liberals to the Marxist regime of their choice? But if they don't like the way we do things, and they want marxism . . . Shouldn't we let them choose the regime they want and drop them off there?

Mexicans want to fly their flag and demonstrate to have their language spoken here? Shouldn't we give 'em a lift to Mexico City where everyone speaks their language?

Hadjis want loudspeakers blasting allah-akbar? Shouldn't we give 'em a ride to Saudi Arabia?

Now, if they want to come here to live free and embrace our values, our heritage and our God.

Do you think we should let let 'em stay? Or have they worn out their welcome?

I heard from a friend in NY that if you plead not guilty to speeding at your summons and the officer who pulled you over is not there, then they immediately dismiss all charges. Is this true? I live in NJ, however, I don't know if that makes any difference.

Would I be better off just talking with the attorney and working out a plea deal? If I plead not guilty, can they convict me somehow with only the officer's report as their evidence?
