Too late for that, most of us have been here for three hundred years. We can not afford to take care of illegals. We still let in many "legal" immigrants, the ones that need to go back are the illegal, that alone shows they have no respect for the law and our law enforcement agencies have their hands full as it is.

no way Americans.the only way to do is comprehensive immigration reform.the Mexicans will never give up.they are not far from US.they will always sneak in.don't argue about that.if they were from Africa that's fine that would be a long journey and a lot of money to arrange it.but they are not far from here.they need only energy and a good walker to cross the border.

All Illegal (i.e. criminal) ailiens should be prosecuted and deported. The emphasis here is on the words ILLEGAL
and ALL; yes, even the ones from my own ethnic heritage.
When these people enter our country illegally they must know that they're breaking the law, and some day it's going to hit the fan. Either that or they're totally stupid, in which case we really don't need them here bnecause they will be a burden.

Interesting question. No one claims, at least not me, that immigration is a bad thing. It is Illegal Imigration that stirs the pot. They get all the perks of being a citizen or resident alien, without paying taxes into the system that they draw from...
We in California know that better than anyone. It's not about race, it's about the burdon imposed on already slim resources, that we pay into and they don't.
Guess we would all have to go back to Eden no matter what your country... Nope we got kicked out...Dang...

ILLEGAL immigration is a bad thing. We let in a million immigrants LEGALLY every year.
It is just the illegals we don't want ruining our schools and stealing our services.
