Yes America was founded by Christians on Christian principals. The phrase "of the people, by the people, for the people" came from a famous Bible. I can give you 50 famous quotes from our leaders to show this BUT
America was to not have one religion over the other. Our nation was formed because of religious persecution. They didn't want the same thing here. Now granted the interpretation of the law is distorted now with freedom from religion instead of freedom OF religion.
Anyways, I agree that illegals should be kicked out but not the same as you. Also immigrants should assimilate. It's dangerous if they don't.
I also think that if Christians acted more like Christians and stopped tolerating sin then our society would be in a much better state. Benjamin Franklin believed religion was needed in a society for it's morals and I agree. How can people find Christ is we aren't willing to show them by walking the walk and not talking the talk?
****ok, getting off soap box****

So liberals aren't Americans too? Oh I SEE now - all men are created equal, unless of course they disagree with you, in which case screw them.
Liberals aren't necesarily Marxist any more than conservatives are all Fascists.
If Mexicans immigrate LEGALLY to the US they can do whatever they like as long as it's legal - unless of course you don't believe in freedom?
I don't think that mosques should have loudspeakers as that is noise pollution - but that is NOT because they are Muslim, just because it would be very annoying for non-muslims to be woken up by the call to prayer at 3am or whatever.
America is not Christian. It has always had people of other religions. Whether they were native religions, Jews, Buddhists - whatever, the US is NOT and never has been a 100% Christian country.
It is their country too. America is a land of immigrants. Who are you to say who is welcome and who isn't. If it's up to anyone to decide it's the people who were there first. Such a pity that the white government did such a good job with their genocide of them so they're not going to be too inclined to be favourable in their judgement.
And whatever happened to keeping church and state seperate? Well I suppose if you've picked and chosen which parts of your precious constitution to listen to you're just going to continue to ignore the bits you don't agree with aren't you?

Well, if you read the Declaration or the Constitution, there are no "Christian" uses in the whole document. The work God does not mean Christianity.
Anyways, I believe that most of the people in our melting pot of America makes our culture. Being Caucasian myself, I am not racist by any means.
Does that mean I get tired of people? Who doesn't. Skin color and nationality mean nothing. Today's world is forming around the idea that everyone is created equal, which a chance. What they do with that equality or chance makes their character, which can then be judged.
I think any addition of culture to our society brings about unity. Ninety percent of Mexican-Americans I know hardly know any English, but are some of the classiest people I've ever met.
By history as well, the continent of North America was not founded by "white men" either.
Find some laughter with people my friend, it brings about happiness.

Not founded on Christianity. Read Locke. Thats what it was founded on. Jefferson, Franklin and may of our founders were deists, not christians. Franklin, after being on a boat that had a near miss with a rocky outcropping on the coast, said something to the effect of "if I were a christian man, I would build a church in honor of the saint that saved us from running aground. Instead, I suggest we build a lighthouse."
Its quite the warm-and fuzzy to think that our founders were the same religion as you, but its untrue. And when they say "God" in their writings, it doesn't necessarily mean a christian god, but god in the deist view. Look it up.

Back the truck up, Wise Guy.
No, no, no....America was founded upon the principle that ALL religions were on an equal playing field.
Christianity/Protestantism does NOT receive any more importance or seniority than any other religion.
Christianity is NOT the "state designated" religion, my friend.
So get off your hate soap box regarding liberals.

This country was not founded on Christian principals. The Constitution expressly forbids Christian principals.
And by the way Jesus was a "Marxist" He told the rich people to give their money to the poor.

Your ignorance of both your Country and your God makes Baby Jesus cry. Read the Bible or the Constitution. Both would be good, but start with at least one. Use a dictionary if you don't understand all the words.
