Kenyan hospitals overwhelmed by women injured by illegal abortion.

Unsafe abortion is the leading cause of gynecological emergencies in Kenya, where the procedure is illegal. Several studies all yielded the same conclusion: Hospitals are overwhelmed with women injured (and sometimes killed) by illegal abortion. In one study, 43 percent of all women admitted for gynecological disorders were women who had unsafe abortions; in another, unsafe abortions accounted for 60 percent of gynecological emergencies; in another, 87 percent. More than half of the unsafe abortions in the second study were procured by girls under the age of 14. These women will get it somehow.

I think those stings are very good and are doing a great thing but i was wondering if the officers tell the person the age they are pretending to be in order to make it a crime. a lot of people have sexual talks with these peole and get arrested for that which makes sense but if the police dont say their age do they still arrest that person or is it only considered a crime when the police say the age? can or do they arrest people if someone starts a sexual chat with them and are not told the supposed age by the officers because that doesnt sound fair since the officer can at that point pretend to be any age.

When CBS published reports about Bush's military service based on what turned out to be false papers, heads rolled.

Why, then, did FOX publish the unsubstantiated, false, and easily disproven accusations of an obscure magazine, and then not fire a single person for the error?

Doesn't FOX care about factual accuracy?

It appears that Republicans say you cant.
Thats how you know whos truly out to serve the best interest of America, and whos just out to support Bush.

Our government was designed on the basis of checks and balances, yet all these bush suporters maintain you should support bush at ll cost.

By them continuing there arguement, is that their own show of lack of support for America, their lack of patriotism for whats good for the american people by trying to side with an imbecill at all cost?

Given the growing problem of binge drinking on campuses, do u think its time to drop the drinking age below 21?

Decriminalizing drinking by kids of 18 and older will bring their alcohol consumption out from hiding to where parents and adults can monitor it and teach responsibility without conflict.

They expect me to ride on the street with cars that are 1,000 stronger than I am. Not all streets have bike lanes. So you could be running into parked cars. What happened to the good old days when bicyclist were pedestrians and they could ride on the side walk and if you didn't yield to a bicycle you were a criminal?

I think it's not a wasted vote because if they support what you believe in voting for them is your duty and right as an american citizen. Why vote for the "winner" who oppsose you?? Then maybe when they win they look at the reasons why the people who didn't vote for them voted for the opposing candidiate. and compromise. Serious Opinions please!
