It appears that Republicans say you cant.
Thats how you know whos truly out to serve the best interest of America, and whos just out to support Bush.
Our government was designed on the basis of checks and balances, yet all these bush suporters maintain you should support bush at ll cost.
By them continuing there arguement, is that their own show of lack of support for America, their lack of patriotism for whats good for the american people by trying to side with an imbecill at all cost?

The problem comes when your leaders are so out of control that they will do or say anything to gain power even to the detriment of the country. There is a proper way to deal with issues... the dems forgot how after they let move on . org hijack their party.

The problem is that everybody seems to have different definitions for terms like "pro-American, pro-Troops and Patriot."
Ask Harry Reid, Karl Rove and Kinky Friedman what all of these mean and you'll get 3 different definitions for each term.
Until we can get past the venomous rhetoric that only serves to polarize and divide, we'll never be able to figure out what any of these terms really mean. Calling the president an imbecile doesn't help any more than when righties called Bill Clinton a pervert.

Here's another question to that question. Can you still be a conservative and be against what the modern incarnation of conservatives push as propaganda to get you to conform and keep your opinion to yourself, because if you question the consensus, you're accused of being an anti-american socialist?
The clique that calls itself "republican" today are neither republican, democrat, or any other ideal. They follow the principles of a professor named Leo Strauss, and operate within the interests of their own multi-national social group. Many in this cabal are democrats, and there are also socialists and dictators who are beneficiaries of their agenda across the globe. They operate strictly within the boundaries of their own self interests, and that involves sucking the common resources dry of any country that they have a vested interest in.
The propaganda that tells you to "Shut up and obey" is simply one of their media based brainwashing tools. They care nothing for the people of this country any more than the Railroad commission of the 19th Century cared about the people who were displaced and impoverished by their land grabbing tactics.

there is nothing more patriotic that being against anything, the entire reason this country was founded. theres a term for people who give blind support to a leader because of pride, patriotism, fear, and its called a monarchy. why should we support something we don't believe in just because its the status quo?
Yes your a patriot, you embody the true form a patriot so reach for an ice cold bud light mr. patriot... you've earned it.

With whom did you serve--what was your MOS? Regardless, patriotism is merely a belief in, or support of, a father/motherland, in this case, the USA. Support of a President--or lack thereof, does not negate an individual's "patriotism." However, patriotism has little to do with "what's good for the people;" patriotism is a commodity measured in terms of support of the city-state, not it's people. Good Lord, people--could you please at least attempt to demonstrate some intelligence by either learning how to spell or learning how to use the 'spell-check' icon? You're killin' me here...

Pro Support Troops (they don't get to pick and choose the wars they go to)
and Anti Bush
Bush hasn't cornered the market on "loving the country" in fact - I'm irked the I'm told by Cons that I'm not supportimg my country when I'm not supporting Bush....
I am patriotic and I can't stand Bush.

Politicians will spin things to "We're right, they are wrong" no matter what. This has been going on since the beginning of the country.
The honest answer is, no. But if you are a believer in socialism over personal responsibility, or one that believes that security is more important than freedom, then you are not a patriot.
That is the true dividing line.
