My boyfriend wasn't supposed to leave to Marine boot camp until July 16th. We argued today about my pregnancy and he moved up his date to June 11. is it possible for him to move his date up so fast or is he just saying this to make me feel bad?

Why are you pregnant by a man who you obviously do not know well enough that you must ask others opinions on your personal life? COMPLETE strangers at that who probably do not even have any relationship counseling training... If he is moving up his date out of sheer spite of you or your pregnancy GO TO COUNSELING. You can let him go, and leave this unresolved but then what happens to the reality of the situation? It may fester into something far worse than your recent argument or the fact he is now trying to escape his civilian life. Why else would he move up his day? Unless he is so eager to go that nothing else matters that is certainly a possibility however if you just had an argument, is this your first child together? He may be too stressed among other things, GO TO COUNSELING.

Yes, he can. All training slots are set up 2-3 weeks apart. If he went to his recruiter and said, "I want to leave earlier", then the recruiter would make a couple of calls and get the date moved forward if possible.

Probably..but what is to worry? You know when he is away he will miss you and his new baby. Let him go and don't put any more stress on him as he and you both have a lot of problems to worry about.

Yeah, that's possible. If he doesn't support the kid, make sure you let the military know. They will deduct money straight from his pay check for child support.

Hey, he just screwed himself. July and August at a military post??? You won't have to tell him about global warming.

If he has the will to be by your side, he can do what he wants and that is exactly what he seems to have done - to be by your side as long as he possibly can! Good boy, good marine!
