If I want to be a right-wing warmongering facist pig 10% of the time, why do I have to commit to it the other 90% of the time?

It's a free country. Non-facist pigs can act conservative on a selective basis just as REAL fascist pigs do.

"Selective". That word conservatives have trouble pronouncing but apply liberally to their morality.

The moderate party: We take moderation to the extreme!

They can just wait for the main two parties to pick a side (because you know they are going to be polar opposites) and then pick a stance right smack in the middle every time.

I just read this article
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070323/us_nm/usa_gay_retirees_dc
Its about offering low cost housing to Homosexual retiree's and they are using state funds to do it. I thought this was illegal but after just reading Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act), as amended, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents of legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), and handicap (disability). No where does it say you cant discriminate based on sexual orientation...so since they are doing that, can i go out tommorrow to rent out one of my houses and say "No homosexuals are allowed to rent this house" legally?

"But when federal immigration agents raided a local plant and took away 361 illegal workers, Frank didn't get up and give the speech about illegals doing work Americans won't do.

You don't say that in New Bedford, a depressed factory and fishing town with a magnificent work ethic and an unemployment rate of 9.4 percent, the highest in Massachusetts. (The day of the raid, the copper company founded by Paul Revere in 1801 added to the misery by announcing plans to leave town.)

For the city's beaten-up working class, factory jobs are diamonds. After the raid, 400 people immediately applied for the openings.

Frank blasted the Defense Department for awarding more than $100 million in contracts to Michael Bianco Inc., which, it appears, was flagrantly employing illegal workers to sew military backpacks and other gear. Frank also quoted a Michael Bianco competitor who called him after the raid, saying, "Now I understand how they kept outbidding me."

What do you think?

They gave my grandmother a pass to go home in Canada for an infection in her organs. They put her on a waiting list. They said she was all right to go home and relax. She came to the US and they told her if she would have waited one more weekend she would have not been with us today.Lucky for her and us she had the surgery in the US and she is still with us today. It really makes me wonder if we really need health care that will put us on a waiting list even though some of us have worked are arss's off to be able to walk in and pay for the best.

I know that liberals are both pro-life and pro-choice.

So, what does a liberal encourage and discourage?

I know that liberals are against war. But they are pro-humanitarian also.

It seems that the really good military generals are Nancy Pelosi and members of the national media. They seem to act is they know more about military tactics than the generals in our Army.

General Nancy Pelosi has decided that the best tactic is to do what Al Qaeda demands. Amazing that members of Al Qaeda don't back down before General Nancy Pelosi and her sergeants in the mainstream media.

She says that the amount ($1500) covers filing ($325) the papers and any hours billed after the retainer are at $125/hr. I have prepared most ofthe paperwork myself and there (as it stands) are no conflicts. She said it all depends on the lefwork that has to be done. Does this seem good?

An article today described the new "what if" bill in Mississippi criminalizing abortion in all cases except for rape and when carrying to term endangers the mother's health (even incest is not excepted) if Roe v Wade is overturned. Yesterday, an article described drug companies' decision to more than double the price of birth control pills for college students nationwide.

I'm pro-life, but I just can't reconcile this. Incest is illegal in all states and should be an exception. And birth control should be available at affordable prices, especially to high school and college students, if not provided free of charge.

Rephrase:

At first, there was enough "intelligence" to gain Congress's approval to go to war. Now that Congress found out that the intelligence was made up and disapprove of it. Is it still okay that Bush still wants to send young children into war without Congress's approval.

(keep in mind that the initial votes to send children to war was under the false presumption that their were "Weapons of Mass Destruction")

He threatens congress if they require Rove aides to go under oath. Isn't going under oath a part of what this country stands for? How can you be the president of the United States and threathen those who advocate going under oath? No one man or group should feel that going under oath is beneath him.

It seems like he does whatever he wants whenever he want. Can't anyone do anything about it? Congress? Hillary Clinton? Bill Clinton? Senate? Barack Obama? Al Gore?

I have a family member that has a law suite going and could be worth a truck load of money.(This person is not sue happy they deserve it)
anyhow the lawyer on the case has only met with the victom twice, three times if you count the unsucessful mediation. He rarley checks in and it takes him weeks to return uor calls. They are set to meet agin in mid april for deposition. We dont really know much about the process, is it normal for an atourney to have so little contact with his client in such a case? How long does it normally take to actually get your day in court once you have filed the suit? We started the process last spring. There is alot riding on this and the injured cant have propper treatment untill he gets his settelment or reward because he needs a very expensive operation. Is there any way to speed this along?(sorry bad spelling)
