Here is an interesting article In The Recorder at Central Connecticut State University. It shows that the Hummer is actually a more environmentally friendly vehicle than the Prius.

I am supposed to write one for my Criminal Procedures and Evidence course but the Professor has not clearly defined what it is and everytime we ask questions, we get a repeat of the same info we all already have. This is the worst professor I have ever had but I need to get an A.

Was he not to respond with financial aid and support to NY after 911? Was he not to expend funds for improved security around the world? Which included the buildup of our Military? Was he not to expend funds for aid and assistance to the States and their people following a RECORD number of hurricanes? As for Afganistan and Iraq? Both of our dumbas_ political parties voted for both of those conflicts, right, wrong or mislead, they did it. Ol Bush should not be blamed alone! As Senators and Representatives (both parties) its shameless on their part to not stand up and take responsibility. Give Bush credit, by God he has.

How is it that the fundamentals of equality and civil rights be used as a tool for establishing affirmative action in schools and places of employment? Isn't this a contradiction of the very point? What I mean is, if we are to end racism, then why implement racism in your means of trying to rid us of it. If an employer is forced to take race into consideration, before making a decision to hire or not, that decision is racist. Whether it mean a white or a black person have the benefit of the mandate. Can this be explained, and if so, how?

I've read various iterations of this, from "they should more vocally denounce the violence of the extremists" to "they should educate the West about their true beliefs."

Isn't it more than that? The violence isn't a handful of people and whatever you think of US foreign policy, it isn't limited to America - worldwide it's a half dozen attacks a day and it's been going on for centuries. Moreover, the violent strain has its roots in the conduct of the religion's founder - which is not true of Christianity. And the violent strain is well-supported by a literal translation of the Koran and Hadiths - again, while the Bible "contains references" that are violent, the Koran and Hadiths are cover to cover violence, and Judaism and Christianity have gone through a period in which leaders acknowledged the problems inherent in the religions and reformed them.

If you're going to hold Muhammad and the Koran up as examplary, that contradicts the idea of peace - is not an explanation owed?

Several weeks ago at their press conference, the libs ran away from Cindy Sheehan and anti-war activists and allowed Sheehan to hijack the microphones.
Of course, they want to cut and run from Iraq.
Now the Democrat presidential candidates are backing out of a debate co-hosted by FOX News this coming summer.

What is with this Democrat Party?
Why are they constantly running away?

exactly what wars are they referring to?

Besides the Crusades, which was initiated because the Muslims closed the Christian holy lands, and the ongoing and continuous Muslim conquests and defeats in the name of Allah, what wars have been started due to religious beliefs?

Have Christians ever actually promulgated a war based on religion? I can't come up with any off the top of my head.
