I know the American government doesn't generally allow its citizens to travel to Cuba, but I'm trying to find out whether or not the Cuban government also has laws blocking the entrance of American visitors.

I'm not saying I'm going to try to go illegally... I'm trying to find out for a class whether or not it's the American laws or the Cuban and Americans laws that keep Americans out of Cuba. Make sense?

You can't travel directly from Cuba to America or from America to Cuba. Americans can get to Cuba but you need to go from a different country like for example Canada, Mexico, France, Europe. Somewhere other than the USA. This is mainly due to the whole Cuban Missile Encounter back durring the cold war.

Yes, Cuba loves the American dollar. I find it pretty disgusting that the US is importing 40% of its goods from communist China but won't allow 1 Cuban cigar in the country; unless you're a politician of course.

No. Cuba will let you in, but you must come from a third country.Mexico , Canada, and Jamaica actually have tours that take you there. The Cuban government does not stamp your passport although you do need one and no one in the state is the wiser. Food is good women are cheap, just becarful taking pictures
