(Re-posted for more feedback)
I have worked for companies both young and old and I have noticed that the policies and procedures of the older companies are more restrictive and decidedly cumbersome. I believe this is chiefly due to the fact that a company is forced to adopt new restrictions each time a problem is identified.
The longer a company is in business, the more problems they overcome in this manner. At some point, their procedures and policies become so numerous that few, if any employees know them all and begin acting and reacting to situations in the most neutral way possible to avoid a possible conflict with a policy that might be buried in there somewhere. A stronger or more decisive action that they would like to take is set aside due to a latent fear that company policy is more important than their individual achievements and contributions to the company and thus they would probably loose their position if they make the wrong move.

I'd like to hear from our enlisted people on what they think about General Pace's stand. Do you believe that homosexuality is immoral and do agree with the "Don't ask, don't tell policy?" If you are enlisted, then please identify your reply as coming from a military person in US services.

If I like another house better then mine and I break in and start cleaning floors, bathrooms, the furnace, you know all those nasty jobs. It is ok right? I mean I am just trying to better myself and I am doing what no one else wants to do so I have every right to live there and demand they adapt to fit my language and culture right?

That doesn't sound like a PLAN to me, it sounds like a goal, and a pretty pathetically vague one, at that.

Why is it that none of the "scientists" and "engineers" who claim the government blew up the twin towers on 9/11/01 is someone who has personally examined any of the evidence in the case?

How, without doing that, could they POSSIBLY form an educated opinion of the situation? It isn't like they have past experience to call upon. Nothing like that had EVER happened before. EVER. So how are they so sure that they're right?

I was watching MSNBC (you have to keep an eye on them once and a while) yesterday, and two self proclaimed "canadian socialists" (very far left wingers) who used to work with Michael moore were so disgusted by his deceitfull tactics, that they filmed a documentary of their own called, "Manufacturing Dissent".

Has anyone seen it yet?

I know I can help my country. I was a selfish teen for two years! I can be tough and strong. Oh...the other person said not to use pronouns. okay. The Marine was embarrassed by the last recruiter who thought she was a child. How does she ask how to be in the combat Marines? She knows nothing about the military, except the military channel helps. Thank you all so much!

The US brought in the Mexicans during times of depression. When we got better we threw them out. And brought them back and threw them out. Ok my question is can you complain that we have so many illegals when we broght them here in the frist place. If you bring a box of roaches in your house how can you get mad when your house becomes infested?

Homeschool Students Score Better Academically and Socially

Basic Statistics

Academically
Home school students scored significantly higher than their public and private school counterparts. The studies below prove homeschool students do exceptionally well when compared with the nationwide average. In every subject and at every grade level of the ITBS and TAP batteries.

Socially
Studies also show homeschoolers mature and better socialized than are those sent to school. Dr. John Wesley Taylor's nationwide study revealed that the self-concept of home school students was significantly higher than that of public school students for the global and all six subscales of the Piers-Harris Self-Concept Scale. The Galloway-Sutton Study (performed in 1997), showed that from five success indicators (academic, cognitive, spiritual, affective-social and pyschomotor), comparing with public and private schooled students, "in every success category except pyschomotor, the home school grad
