If the adminstration doesn't get the money they want, it's because the congress "Doesn't support the troops."

If the congress votes to not support failed strategy, they're "not supporting the troops."

Is there any evidence that this adminstration has a new idea - a real change in strategy? Are we so blind that we can't see that a flat increase in troops will only increase the number of veterans we must care for later? I'd rather have them at home, protecting us here.

Al Gore uses enough electricity in one of his homes in one year to supply 20 average American families for a year. Before President Bush was elected President he used 25% less electricity then the average American Family uses in a year~Some people can talk the talk but can't walk the walk. A house designed "in harmony with the landscape." To reduce heating and cooling needs, prevailing winds and temperatures were taken into account in situating the building. The house also uses two lesser-known environmentally friendly technologies: geothermal heating and wastewater recycling.
Inside a closet, a collection of pipes is thrust deep into the earth, down where the sun don't shine and the temperature is perpetually 67 degrees. Water circulates through this zone and then back up into house pipes to heat or cool the building. The system uses less electricity than conventional heating and cooling installations, but that electricity does come from the local electric grid. The house also has a well and recycles its water. Water that flows out a tub drain is known as "gray water"; water from the toilet is "black water." This home recycles both types via subterranean filtration tanks and uses the resultant cleaner water in the garden. Hint: it's in Crawford Texas.

Here's the deal...

A close friend, who is a general contractor, has hired an immigrant who has a work visa petition pending. The catch is that the immigrant employee is no longer working for the company that originally petitioned for the work visa on behalf of the immigrant in question. Put more simply, Company B petitioned for employee, who now works for Company A, my friend's company.

My friend wants me to investigate the status of his employee's petition. First, the original petition is now void, since the employee is no longer working for the petitioner. Second, my friend knows that the employee entered the country illegally, and that the original petition was fraudulent, in that certain figures and numbers were exaggerated. The original petitioner is willing to continue the masquerade, and claim falsely that the employee still works for him.

Should I turn in Companies A and B, as well as the undocumented employee, to the proper authorities? What do you all think?

without critism can anybody tell me what government does rage beleive in and why do they have a problem with the two party system of government? I watched the video for there protest out side the democrat nactional convention, and i was confused. A few weeks ago friends were visiting from, were visiting from Holland. I have been sharing a few peoples cars.,when there not getting used. The owner of one of the cars asked me if i had been caught on camera going through a red light. I'm sure i haven't and i know friends from holland had been using the car, but he hasn't had chance to ask them yet. Does anyone know the law on this.

I have 1000's of my old vhs' videos that i want to sell online. Is it legal to take a picture of each of them and upload to webapp instead of just listing the name of each? How does sites like ebay handle the copyright issues? e.g. they let users post pictures of vhs's and no user gets permission of the vhs maker before selling it on ebay. I also notice a lot of mass-websites display cd cover thumbnail of cd's "coming soon" where they are still negotiating the rights to the music w/ the music label. Is there some resolution or common sense laws protecting companies right to have thumbnail pictures of products they sell or plan to sell even if its used and they have no agreement w/ the individual labels owning each old used product?
