yeah but that won't even unite America. Let people choose for themselves. I think worst thing for the party you are talking about would be to put Hillary or Obama in the white house. Need to get Gore in there

Climate change:
Liberals cant implement a solution. The conservative businessmen will have to do the real work. The liberal's are not doing the hard math to look at realistic practical solutions that people will pay for. It will take a capitalist to find them. The liberal proposals to end global warming will be from the heart, deeply felt but totally impractical. If the liberals stopped insulting the conservatives on climate change for a short time, the conservatives could just settle down and apply some business sense and economics to find a practical solution.
Humanitarianism:
Well the conservatives are the ones that removed someone from power who had caused over 1 million deaths. I don't recall any humanitarian actions to prevent the genocide in Rwanda under the last liberal leader where 1 million+ died.
Competence? Respect?
Sure a lot of the rest of the world is liberal. Especially the press. Here and there they get it wrong. Just like in the USA the population of the world is divided. Many respect us more for what we have done in Iraq and elsewhere.
Love not War?
We don't want to wait until the problem gets so big that the fundamentalist Islam terrorist training camp is in your marijuana patch Mr Liberal. Doubt you will notice it until then.

Climate change planning is fiction there is no way to plan for what ever the earth decides we have in store for us. Nobody can predict the future. The only thing we can do is adapt to what happens... way to lead with your strongest argument.
Your next reason is an overwhelming objective of conservatives. They are far more charitable than Libs in terms of both time and money.
The Democratic ideas of respect is asking the UN first on everything. No one should ever support such an asinine principle.
You can keep loving America's enemies all you want they will always hate us. In the real world plagued with terrorists it is either kill or be killed.
The "cons" will continue to provide the liberals with a place to spew the nonsense that you guys believe in, but do not insult their intelligence by asserting that you are a party of REASON.

Switching is very hard for party members. More often than not, they criticize the issues being waged by the other party rather than becoming political butterflies.

The only problem is the terrorists became really powerful when Clinton was in office and blew up a bunch of our stuff and he did nothing to take care of the problem. Your ideals are nice but we do not live in a world of rainbows and flowers.

I suppose you mean "conservatives"?
Liberals are mostly liars, and their ranks are shrinking. Even democrats are putting conservatives on their tickets (notice the 2006 elections when democrats even ran evengelicals on their side!)
Maybe you'll be the last to know that conservatives are on the side of:
Knowledge and unbiased research
Not lying to the public about global warming
Not racist programs such as "protected classes"
Not bigoted programs such as "special rights"
Not murdering unborn children and old people
Not emaciating America just to be "liked" by the world
Stopping war by killing those who start them

Yeah, I agree it's time you became more conservative and realized that man made global warming is a myth, and the only way to have peace with Al Queda is to eliminate Al Queda or surrender, and accept that we will have peace is throught strength. Being weak like liberals are is only going to guarantee another attack on us.

Many have fled the repuglican party, some are now libertarians and others are independents and many voted for democrat this last Novemeber. Even some in Congress have fled the corrupt Bush administration.
