Al Gore uses enough electricity in one of his homes in one year to supply 20 average American families for a year. Before President Bush was elected President he used 25% less electricity then the average American Family uses in a year~Some people can talk the talk but can't walk the walk. Do as I say not as I do!

Gore talks a good game, but when his utility bill for 1 month is what mine is for 2 years he is not a friend to the environment. I wonder how many of his Hollywood friends showed up a the awards in gas guzzling limos Sunday night. At least if we were drilling for oil in the Artic as Bush suggests we could cut down on our dependence of foreign oil.

I'm sure all of us, including Vice President Gore, could improve what we do to lessen the amount of energy we consume. At least he is trying to do something about improving our environment by making us aware of what we are doing to our world. He does put his money where his mouth is by investing in companies that are doing research into energy alternatives. On the contrary, George Bush gives tax breaks and incentives to the big oil corporations, which are the biggest gross polluters in the world. Nor would he have anything to do with the Kyoto talks on the environment in which most of the other nations in the world participated, and only recently admitted that global warming was a concern. Don't even try to compare Al Gore's commitment to saving our environment with George Bush's. There is no comparison.
I wonder if anyone has read the electric meter on the White House lately?

President Bush is, Gore lives in a 20 room home that uses more energy in one month then the average home does in one year He travels on private jets and knows nothing about the real cause for the so called global warming. Bush has a small home in Texas.

i'd could say that Al Gore's house is the main environmentally unfriendly abode of the two. each and every subject that I certainly have heard approximately Bush and his ranch is that that's an working ranch so which you would be friendly to the ecosystem to advance farm animals in Texas.

Who cares?

That said, Bush's policies and their effects are way worse than what Gore does.

Look, he's the ex VP, he isn't going to live in a shack. And, they have stated that the energy they buy is mainly from renewable sources as they've bought green energy credits.

How much energy has Bush used to fly around, invade countries etc.

I'm not crazy about Gore, but at least he's raising awareness. Its not the just the actions of the individual in their own lives, but how they can raise awareness and get the masses to change little things which in aggregate mean alot.

It doesn't take much change in our lives to make meaningful changes with respect to our energy consumption. Its getting ALOT of people to make small changes -- that's what gets us benefit. Things like changing Daylight Saving make a huge benefit. Using low energy bulbs, driving less or combing trips.

From what I've heard, the claim that Gore uses that much electricity is, well, enough "natural" material to produce electricity.

I would go by other things.

Bush does not have a record of caring much about drilling, etc - he is pro-oil etc... so you can guess what my opinion is.

But if you already have a strong feeling about Gore & Bush, then isn't this really a wasted question?

No one truely knows who is enviromental friendly, sometimes people lie to become president or try to decive people to get there vote and al gore uses electricity for a lot of his homes, summer home, winter home, spring home and autum home so he is useing more energy than bush, bush is the president so he has a big white house so he propaly uses more than al Gore

Bush...I saw a study that showed terrorism is the 2nd leading cause of green house gas....right behind the methane that spews out of Gore's mouth

Because Bush was content with a shabby ranch.
Bush has been called the worst environmental president before. Al Gore has inspired him to recently fund alternative energy projects after slashing funds for those programs for so long.

The true crusaders of the environment are the ones who actually use it. Sportsmen, hunters and alike are far more conscientious about what they do to the environment than a bunch of concrete jungle Liberals who's idea of nature is a city park.

I will leave it to you to decide which of those two categories those two men fit into.
