What do you think is dumbest security measure taken after 9/11?

The beefed-up security at airports that takes one hour longer and stops people from having shampoo and make-up. Since rich people have their own airplanes, this hurts the working class.

The terror level is meaningless now. Right after 9/11 it made sense. Now, it is only useful for enacting plans (like a defcon). It means nothing to the general public.

Much of the airport security is silly-- shampoo and stuff. come on.

There's also plenty of security measures NOT taken which are dumb-- port security, etc.

The classic dumb security measure is the recommendation to use duct tape to seal windows in case of a chemical , biological, and radiological attack.

They've managed to make air travel so time-consuming, inconvenient and uncomfortable that now I only fly if absolutely forced to. For you capitalists out there, it's making the airline industry lose money.

The fact that Bush thinks he can change the Geneva rules about torture allowing us to torture anyone we want with whatever methods we want. That is just plain inhumane

most of them really becouse the gov is doing such a bad job puting them to good use that they just arn't worrking as they should.
