Nice going Nancy? She has maintained since that happened that he should be removed from all committees. The Democrats bowed to the Black Caucus, who protested loudly, that he was being penalized before any wrong doing was proven. She appointed him because that is her job, and she had to do so to calm the Black Caucus down. I don't think she liked it much, and I think she'll be vindicated when he is prosecuted and found guilty. When you are in charge, sometimes you have to take action you find reprehensible on the strength of opposition to what you wish to do. I don't blame Pelosi for this one, I blame the Black Caucus.

I guess the guy was promised a seat on that committee a long time ago. I don't know any other reason that the Dems would insist on giving him the spot. It was a really dumb move, didn't the Dems KNOW that if they did this, they would be criticized? Wasn't there anyone else able to fill the spot?
I don't think the guy has been found guilty of anything (yet), but I believe at least two people were indicted for bribing him. Do the Democrats WANT to start a fight with the Republicans over this? Seems REALLY dumb to me... Love Jack

It's funny, this question has been up for 5 minutes and no dems with some stupid retort. Thats because what can you say? It easy to say Bush is stupid, or republicans are ugly, or Bush should be impeached, but they can't defend William Jefferson or Nancy Pelosi.

Al Qaeda is or was headed by Osama Bin Laden whose family are buddies with the Saud and Bush families. Gee I wonder who would tell whom secrets about attacks etc.?
