They are constantly saying things about Bush that we don't know about, especially regarding his interest in oil. Why are Americans so left out? Do they (Europe) see us all as a brain dead Jerry Springer/Oprah/Dr.Phil nation? If so, what can we do about this?

The US media is tightly controlled, then again so is Britain's, but somehow they get some of the bits we don't. I am not surprised.

I was just talking to one of my family members about that.

He was just saying that we used to be able to hear news from Germany and BBC, but not anymore. That was the only place years ago to get the truth.

We really want to hear the BBC, but it's being censored, modified and watered down from what little we can gather.

In europe, we hear more truth than in north America....But don't think that the media there is not controlled, because it is.....just not on the scale that it is in USA...Even Canada doesn't censor political media as much as the US....
