I have a friend who won't vote his conscience, he votes for who he thinks is going to win, says he doesn't want to waste his vote. I think voting your heart sends a message whether your candidate wins or not. How can I tell my friend he's an idiot without hurting his feelings?

I am a freelancer in nyc. I have been dealing with a client for sometime.The project was slated at 700.00. I have contract for 700.00 Because of her constant changes the project is now at 1150.00 She still makes constant changes.
I have tried different ways to solve the issue but every time I do this she always has a situation that keeps me from completing the project. The project is a website. I am not sure what to do. I have given her the source files and the website is on her server. I have stopped working with her because of this. I have also offered to give her back 650.00. She has threatened to sue unless she receive full payment. i feel I have done everything I could plus offered her the money which wasn't fair. Any advice?
She also claimed that the 450.00 of changes was unauthorized checks written by a person in her company to pay.
Can she sue for more then the 1150.00? Can she claim things for more money then the 1150.00?

I was shooting a film at school using a fog machine and the fire alarm went off. However I am not positive it was the fog machine that set it off because 2 janitors ran by the room and I heard that they thought it was smoke and pulled the alarm, I am not sure though. Anyways we told a teach after all 3 thousand students where out of the school that it was probably the fog machine. Anyways we talked to the principal about it and he said he would let us off because it was an accident and a teacher knew about it plus we told a teacher it was us. Well he said that the fire department might fine the school for the alarm going off without an actually emergency and the school would make my group pay it. The principle said once a student pulled the fire alarm before as a prank and had to pay $1000 for the fire department coming. Is this legal and would I have to pay this? Any input would be helpful

It seems Bush wants to deploy interceptor missiles to Poland and Czechoslovakia to protect the US against Iranian ICBMs.
Now, here's the situation:
1)Iran isn't going to have nuclear weapons for years, if ever.
2) Iran has no ICBMs-and won't for the foreseeable future, certainly at least 10-15 years.
3) Interceptor missles at that point would be useless--a missle launched from Iran wouldn't need to fly anywhere near there.
4) In light of othe above, the Russians are raising h**l--they simply don't believe Bush.
Anybody have any idea WHAT THE F BUSH IS TRYING TO PULL NOW?

The birthday party is predicted to cost enough to feed thousands of people for months. Zimbabwe's bread bakeries have been forced to close because of government mandated price controls, which have been forcing bakeries to sell bread at a loss. Civil protest has been met with police resistance and government bans on demonstrations and political gatherings. Threats to postpone Zimbabwe's next presidential election have also come from Mugabe. If nothing is done then loss of life could be severe.
