search on yahoo for your local county jail website. When you find this there will be a series of choices to choose from on the left habd column. Click on Corrections and then it will say Search Inmates, View Current Inmates, OR SEX OFFENDERS. Click that and seach. This may not be the same setup for them all but close to it. This is a good thing to look at because it will tell you there current location and how many in your area. Check it out.

That depends on where you live. In Virginia, where I am, the State Police has all registered sex offenders on their website,

You can google a search for whatever state you're in + sex offenders. Chances are, it'll pop up in the results.

There are many ways, as already stated by the previous answers, and vary from state to state. I found a website in California for the sex offenders information for my local county, and trust me, they are 98% male, and ugly, ugly, ugly! But then, have you ever seen a good mug shot?

When teens are taking pictures of themselves and sending them to other teens, the person receiving the picture is not in possession of child pornography. These cases are like the 5th grade girl who took a knife to school to cut up her chicken and was arrested in the lunch room. Common sense should over ride the letter of the law, in other words, it should be the intent of the law that is enforced, not someone's idea as to how they can get as many arrests and convictions as possible. Punishment for these kinds of actions do not warrant a felony charge.

They the state police or highway patrol website for your state. The ones in Missouri are on the highway patrol website listed by county and their address (street/town) and picture is shown.
