I love clinton but ive seen too much negative support so Im not too sure if she will win...but I greatly forsee Obama as the next president of the United States. He will most probably secure the northern vote either way as democrats tend to do, however the south up until now has had relatively low african-american voter turn out. If there is a black man running for president, how do you think the black south (ie Geogria) will vote?
Edit:
In response to your additional details...
Haha you better damn sure believe every single black man woman and child will be voting if there is a black man running

You know... a lot of african americans and other minorities DO vote. If you look at the poll results taken, the democratic party is FULL of minorities. I do believe that whoever is elected in the primaries does have a chance. You have more than just the popular vote... you have to gain the electoral votes, also. So there is more to it than people know about.
They both DO have a chance. I would not be suprised for a Democrat to win the presidency. It IS about time for someone capable of handling our country.

No they will not win but it's about the issues facing America today. The silent majority votes for moral values and demand a leader to defend them. Only republicans show themselves worthy by valuing God and his teachings. Avoiding the issues will not get a democrat in office either...so far, even dems will probably be voting for a republican president rather than their own party. That's why the media couldn't understand how Gore lost...you can vote outside your party,...just not during the primaries. Go figure.

America will vote for a non republican. You have to have screwed your party up bad when your choice is the other guy no matter what.
I will vote for Obama. If Hillary wins it will be 24-28 years of Bush Clinton. Sound like a democracy to you? Not me. The Bushes and the Clintons take orders from the same master, and its not us.

This Election is Hillary's to lose. America really dosent care about her ideas, they just want out of Iraq. As long as she can keep her temper in check, and keep Bill out of the headlines. If she some how talks Obama into being the VP, then its a done deal. After the election with Obama AND Bill in the white house.... Look out.... that joints gonna be ROCKIN!

Twice, we voted for an old actor who had to take naps during his four hour work day. More recently, we voted twice for a draft dodger to lead us into war.The American Public can be sold that a decorated war hero is a traitor and that a decent moral man is the devil. We, the American public like our politics light. If Walmat is still behind Hillary, she will be viable candidate.I will have to Waite and see who is behind Obama to see if he is viable. I always thought Kerry was a good candidate.....Family money from Heinz and Kimberly-Clark.We never went to war over Ketchup and Toilet Paper.

I don't think all Americans are racist or doesn't wanna be under the rule of a woman....So why not give 'em a chance and see what they could do to unravel America from its miseries of wars.....So I'm sure they'll vote for a black or a woman if people find them to be the right person to head their country and who can save the face of our country by pulling out from the bungled wars..

If David Geffen has his way, neither one will win. I think Geffen is a Republican plant trying to get Barack & Hillary to do something stupid and damage their chances. As it stands now it would be a tradgey to lose either Obama or Hillary, they should run on the same ticket for President and Vice President, it would stop the Republican spin masters and force them to talk about Britney's barbershop meltdown some more.
In answer to your question, yes they can win.

Yuck, and Yuck... Neither. I would pick a black president over a women any day. Hillary is decietful and a women, who wants a women?! Women and men were made differently, obviously. Women run on emotions, men think logically. Hillary is yucky. I want a republican, so I obviously wont be voting for Obama, but, if it came down to a black or women in the conservative side, I would be voting black...

I would like to say yes, but the sad truth is that I just don't think the American people are ready to have either a woman or a black man run the country. Although God knows we could use someone with half a brain for a change...
